"Why does it matter so much to you guys if I treat her right or not . She is  just my employee ," I said shouting back at my family .

"She's my friend ," Sophie said .
"And mine too ,"  Xavier said .
"And she is our friends daughter ," My mom said .
"Yeah ," My dad said .

"I don't care . It's not my fault she 's too weak ," I said .
With that being said , I earned a slap behind my head from Sophie .

"Ouch ! that hurt ," I said.
"Good , maybe your brain can now think properly this time and stop being mad and mean around Jessica," Sophie said .

"Look bro , we just want  you to stop being mean to Jessica . She doesn't deserve it ,"  Xavier said  .
"Yeah ,"  Sophie said agreeing with Xavier .

If only they knew , what happened between me and her .
"Ugh ! " I groaned .
I'm tried of getting a lecture every single time about Jessica .

"Just treat her right ,"  My mom said . "And you won't have a any problems ," My dad said as well .

With that I picked up my keys and  headed for the door before I closed it I said "I will try ".

I closed it and headed for Jessica 's house . Her mother and father answered the door and said "Luke , what  a surprise to see you here ".

"Ohh uh I came to see Jessica ," I said. 
"Ohh Jess is up in her room . We are going out so bye and don't stay too late ," Her mother said .

"Okay bye ," I said.

I walked up to her room and knocked on her door but another girl answered the door .
"Um ,  Jess do you know him ," The girl who answered the door said. 
"Who 's him ?" Jess said coming out of her bathroom and  to her door  to see me .

"Ohh um yeah , this is my boss ,"She said introducing me to them.
"Luke , these are my best friends , Bella and Ariel ," She said.
"Nice meet you ladies ," I said.
"Same to you ," They said. 
" Jessica , can I talk to you in private please ," I said in a  sheepishly way while scratching the back of my head .

"Ohh well bye Jess ," Bella said .
"But I want -  Ariel said
"Doesn't matter what you want ,"  Bella said

"Ugh ! Fine let's go ," Ariel said .
"Bye guys ," Jess said to them as they left .

They closed the door and then I heard the front door being closed  . After that ,  the awkwardness came into the room as well as silence and tension .

What was I thinking  in coming here . I asked my self conscience.
