Tris

I still haven't told Tobias about Uri.

His visit was nearly a whole week ago but we comunicate trough little notes.

He said he will be back in two days. Sunday.

I put on my thickest sweater.

Winter in the dauntless compound is a nasty thing.

Its freezing all the time.

Only the pit has an okay temprature because they are huge fires.

Of course there can't be a heater or anythig like that.

We are at Dauntless so there have to be fires.

I smile.

I am tying my shoelace when it knocks.

"Its open!" I yell and straighten.

Shauna with Lya on her arm comes in.

I give her a quick hug and peck Lyas head.

"Hey you two. Whats up?"

Shauna shrugs. "Not much. Just wanted to go and visit you. How are you doing?"

I snatch my keys from the table and then walk outside with them.

"I'm doing great. I mean i had a piece of dauntless cake for breakfast... how could i not feel perfectly fine?"

She laughs.

"I guess you are right. Do you have to work today."

I nod in the tact of my steps.

"Yup. Actually i am just heading to work. Why?"

Shauna sighs. "I hoped that you could take lya for today.
I have an appointment with my boss and i can't really bring my kid with me."

I grin a bit.

"No. No, i think you can't."

She smiles a bit as well.

"Well i just hoped that you could take her. All the others have to work as well."

"Hey i never said i couldn't take her.
Just because i have to work it doesn't mean i couldn't take care of her.
My boss is really cool.
I think he can handle that."

She smiles widely.

"You're a lifesaver." She gives me a huge hug.

"So sorry but I already have to leave. I gotta get the train at 8.30."

She hands Lya to me and hangs a bag at my shoulder.

"In the bag is everything you need. Her drink, diapers and toys. She should take a two hours nap  now and..."

"And another one when she seems tired. Don't worry Shaun. Its not the first time I babysit her."

Shauna smiles relieved. "Of course. I have to go now. I'll pick her up at your apartment at 7 pm, okay?"

I give her quick hug. "Okay."

She pecks Lyas head and then bustles around the next corner.

Grinning I shake my head about her.

I adjust Lyas position in my arm and then start walking again.

"Lets see whether Dannie is open to kids at work..."

"Hey Jonas. Hey Dannie." I greet them once I entered.

"Did I miss that you have a child Tris?" Dannie asks and he looks confused.
