Tris
Nervous i pace up and down my apartment.

Tobias didn't show up the day he said he would.

He also didn't write another message. He didn't even get the old one.

The deal we have is that I have to wait three days for a response before i go looking for him again.

Untill now he always wrote or showed up at least a day later.

But today is already the second day and again this morning there was nothing under the rock.

I walk over to the shelf and back to the couch.

The shelf. The couch. The shelf. The couch.

After about ten minutes i sigh and fall onto the couch.

The open window lets in a freezing cold breeze. But i have to leave it open. If i fall asleep tobias needs a way to come in.

I pull my sweater closer around my shoulders and wrap my blanket around me as well.

I decided i would stay up all night and if he doesn't show up I would get the others as soon as the sun rises.

I nod. This is a good plan. Then it is the third day. And all this waiting is making me sick.

Concentrated I stare at the window.

Come on Tobias. Show up. Please.

Was there a noise? No. It was only the wind making some small rocks fall.

I sigh and wrap the blanket even closer around my shoulders.

Again I stare into the darkness.

Stay awake. Stay awake. Stay awake. Stay awake. Stay awake. Stay awake. Stay awake. Stay awake. Stay... stay... a-awaake...

A loud noise makes me sit up straight.

What was that? Did i fall asleep? How long did I sleep?

I look at the window and see a tall person just closing it.

This person didn't know that i lay a branch in the window so the wind wouldn't close it.

The loud noise was the branch snapping.

I jump up. "Tobias?"

Instead of an answer the person strides towards me and folds me into his arms.

I fall against him. "Tobias!" I say excited and tired at the same time.

Is this a dream?

Tobias leans down and presses his lips on mine.

No, this can't be a dream. Only a real kiss could do this to me.

I pull him closer to me by his neck and his arm wraps around my hip again.

I pull away a bit again and smile widely.

"You came." I wheeze out.

He smiles but because of some reason his face twists in pain.

"I will always come."

"What happend to your face?" I now gasp out.

He averts his eyes and turns it so it is in the shadow.

Softly i take his chin and pull him into the light of the moon again.

"Tobias. What happend?"

He sighs and then searches my eyes.

"These guys attacked me..."

Just now i notice that his arm is bleeding.

"Oh my god. Come with me!"
