Saturday
I was just getting myself ready, as in putting on a subtle formal outfit, and practicing what to say to Chris and his parents. But before that, all I need to pick out what formal outfit I should wear.
Maybe some tight skinny blue jeans, and a sleeveless turtleneck off white shirt. I'll even add some jewelry and some accessories. Possibly a purse even. Makeup will be done after.
40 minutes later
I totally pulled off this look. My hair looks so cute since I got a haircut yesterday.
"Jasmine, hurry up already!" My mom called out from downstairs. It was already four thirty and we needed to be there by five. "Coming mom! Just a second!" I shouted back.
I just needed to call two people. One is one of the girls, and the other is Austin.
I'll call Jessica. Violet must be busy at her sister's engagement.
Jessica: Hey Jazz! Are you leaving to go to Chris's house?
Me: Yeah, I'm just so nervous.
Jessica: And why is that?
Me: You know the reason.
Jessica: Let me guess. It's because that you can't be sure whether facing Chris after you told off is a good idea, right?
Me: *sighs* Pretty much.
Jessica: Well, don't worry.
Me: What do you mean?
Jessica: What I meant to say is that you need to be normal. Just be yourself.
Me: I'm always myself, okay?
Jessica: Then it shouldn't be a problem.
Me: Hopefully.
Jessica: Listen, I got to go. Dad is calling me. Bye and have fun!And now to call Austin.
Be yourself. I thought about Jess's advice.
Aren't I always myself?
Austin: Princess! What's up?
Me: *chuckles* The roof.
Austin: *sighs* You should be a comedian.
Me: Thanks for the compliment.
Austin: That wasn't even a compliment.
Me: You see, I'm too good for you to handle.
Austin: I can handle you better than you can handle yourself.
Me: What a boyfriend you are.
Austin: *chuckles* I'm the best babe.
Me: Babe?
Austin: You see, you're my girlfriend now, and I can call you whatever I want.
Me: Not.
Austin: Yes so!
Me: * laughs* Nope.
Austin: Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. There, I won.
Me: Anyways, I need your help, Austin.
Austin: Shoot.
Me: Okay, so, you know that I'm heading to Chris's house in a few minutes, right?
Austin: Yeah?
Me: I need advice. I called Jessica and asked her, but all she told me was to be myself, which I always do.
Austin: I agree with Jess on that.
Me: Okay...
Austin: I'm pretty sure you're afraid of meeting him face-to-face after what happened, right?
Me: Jess asked me the same exact thing, and yeah, I'm nervous.
Austin: Do you know that microphone I gave you two years ago?
Me: Yeah, I still have it. It works perfectly fine.
Austin: Okay, so just put that on and when you need any assistance, just call me. But don't make it noticeable.
Me: That's not a bad idea, you know.
Austin: Duh. It's because 'I' thought of it.
Me: I could have thought of that too!
Austin: But you didn't.
Me: I was about to!
Austin: But you didn't because I said it first.
Me: Ugh. You're so annoying.
Austin: And you're so feisty when you get mad. It's hot.
Me: Quit the flirting already.
Austin: If only I was with you, then I'd stop.
Me: * chuckles* Not happening.
Austin: Now that, broke my heart.
Me: Awe. Little boy needs his pacifier?
Austin: I'm not a little boy.
Me: Yes you are.
Austin: Hmph.
Me: How long have we been talking for?
Austin: About fifteen minutes.
Me: I'll be late because of you!
Austin: Chill out. You have ten minutes left.
Me: Not helping.
Austin: Are you going to find that microphone or what?
Me: I don't need to find it. It's in my drawer.
Austin: So, you'll call me when necessary?
Me: Yeah. I'll hang up now.
Austin: Bye babe.
