Chapter 37

Charlie's POV.

Did I hear him right? Kara? Really? Out of all the people who could help us, he picks the worst of them all?

"Why Kara?" Gaby asked through gritted teeth.

"Because she's on our side, slightly," he said.

"What do you mean by slightly?" I asked.

"I mean that she's on our side, but we'd have to negotiate with her," he said.

"it makes sense," Eleanor said quietly.

"How?" I asked.

"Because Kara knows how the enemy thinks and we need that in order to defeat Dove," Eleanor explained.

"Exactly," Harry said.

"No not exactly. What if she uses our vulnerability against us?" I asked.

"It's a risk we have to take," Dani said.

"Are you thinking about the full risk in that?" I asked, looking more to Harry for an answer.

"I have and I'm sorry, but that's what we have to do," Harry said.

"Great," I said, getting up.

"Charlie wait," He said following me.

"No leave me alone Harry," I said, starting up the stairs.

"No listen to me," he said, grabbing my arm and pinning me to the wall.

"Harry let me go," I yelled.

"No fucking listen to me for once. I'm tired you being a selfish little bitch," he said. I bit my lip to stop from crying at his words.

"You won't risk your fucking life for your friend when everyone in this damn house is risking theirs for you. You don't even know Kara and you hate her. You're the one who invited the girls in the first fucking place. I told you about the damn risk before this shit happened and now you wanna fucking get upset because you have to risk your life for someone you decided to bring in here? Sorry darling it doesn't fucking work like that. And newsflash, your life was in danger before these girls and it'll still be in danger if you don't get Perrie. So you'd rather fucking lose a friend because you don't wanna fucking work with the enemy, get over your damn self," he said, backing away from me and leaving.

I slid against the wall until I fell on the ground and I started crying. He's never yelled at me like that. He's never talked to me like that.

"Charlie?" Liam said.

"No leave me alone," I cried.

"Charlie what's wrong?" Liam said, scooping me up and sitting me in his lap.

"He called me a bitch," I cried.

"What?" Liam asked.

"He called me a selfish little bitch," I cried harder.

"Why?" Liam asked.

"Because he says that I made the girls come here and I'm not risking my life for people who are risking their lives for me," I said.

"That makes sense," Liam said, rubbing my back.

"That doesn't give him the right to call me a fucking bitch," I said.

"I know, but he's got a point on why he's calling you selfish," he said.

"Shut up Liam," I said.

"I gotta go," he said, placing me back on the ground.

"What?" I asked, wiping my eyes.

"I have to go," he repeated.

"Why?" I whined.

"I have to help Harry plan a negotiation for with Kara," he said.

"You can't just leave me here. Alone," I said.

"Sadly I have to, so bye," he said walking away.

Gaby's POV.

"Well, this isn't awkward," I said.

"Nope," Niall smirked.

"I've got to go," Liam said, kissing Dani's nose and getting up.

"Where are you going?" Eleanor asked.

"I have to help Harry negotiate," he said.

"Kara's not here is she?" Niall asked.

"No not yet. But I have to help plan," Liam said.

"Alright, go," I said.

"Thanks," Liam said, leaving.

"Dani do you want to go shopping?" Eleanor offered.

"Yeah, Gaby do you want to come?" Dani asked.

"Yeah, but let's ask Charlie," I said.

"Baby what am I going to do without you?" Louis whined to Eleanor.

"Hang out with Niall," I offered.

"What if we all went shopping? I mean we have to protect you girls and it'd be easier if we all went to protect you," Zayn said.

"That's soooo true," Dani said.

"Alright let me go get Charlie," I said.

"Ok," Niall smiled.

I got up and walked into the house and walked to the stairs to find Charlie curled in a ball against the wall.

"Charlie," I said.

"Huh? Gaby?" she said.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Harry called me a bitch," she replied.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because I was being selfish and he was upset," she said, wiping her eyes.

"I know how to make you feel better," I offered.

"How?" she asked.

"Shopping?" I smiled.

"With?" I asked.

"Eleanor, Dani, Zayn, Louis, Niall and I," I said.

"Oh cool almost like a triple date," she said.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing never mind," she replied.

"Do you want to go?" I said.

"Yeah sounds fun, let me just wash up," she smiled, standing up and going upstairs.

Then I walked back outside to where everyone was sitting.

"She said yes she'll go," I said.

"Awesome," Dani smiled.

"Ok where is she?" Zayn asked.

"Washing her face," I said.

"Ok cool," Eleanor smiled.

"Ready to go," Charlie said appearing from behind me.

3. Graphic scene coming up.

They aren't going in that order and you don't know when they'll happen, but it's a hint to why this is a filler chapter.
