Fate was playing games with me. Because when I left school and was walking back home, I had a chance to meet him again, and in a really weird way. By colliding with him. Again.

     "Ugh. You again."

"Oh, you again." I was embarrassed. I kept on meeting him, but not in a friendly way.

"You don't ever see where you're going. Do you?"

     He was glaring at me.

Today he was wearing an oversized hoodie. His eccentric hair hidden under the hood.

"I'm sorry." I didn't have anything else to say. As I said, I was embarrassed. And as if my anxiety wasn't already bad enough, I suddenly felt the urge to cry. On cue, my lower lip quivered.

"Hey. Hey. Are you going to cry now?"

     "No." I sniffled a bit. " I'm not."

     "I'm sorry, okay? Stop crying."

"I didn't mean to collide again. I was preoccupied."

     "It's okay."

"No. It's not. I ruined your sweater yesterday."

"Oh God. Please stop crying. I said it's okay."

"Really? You're not mad at me?" I wiped away the tears that had managed to slip out of my eyes and looked up at him expectantly.

"Yes. I have to go. Don't cry again. Okay?"

      Saying that, he ran away.

He must be late because of me.

He was interesting. Just like his cotton candy hair.
