"Okay."
                          Amber's eyes widened. 
                          "Okay. I'll let you do this. But on one condition. You have to tell me the reason why. You can't just up and leave like that. You can't just break up with me because you think you can't do this anymore."

                          Amber shook her head, tears falling down her pretty face freely. 
                          It hurt me to see her cry. 
                          It hurt me that she wanted to break up.
                          "I... I can't... Jimin, I have to go to college soon, leave this city and never return to this god forsaken place. But you have lived here all your life. And it'll be so hard for me to not be with you. To be so far away. It'll kill me. That's why I want to break up."
                          I had a hunch that it was about college.
                          "But... Weren't you and Layla supposed to study at the college here in this city?" 
                          She shook her head, wiping away her tears.
                          "My mom came back. And now my dad and I are leaving this city."
                          I was quiet as soon as I heard her words. It felt like something hard hit my chest with full force and broke my ribs. Just the thought of her leaving me hurt this much.
                          "Forever."
