EXODUS CHAPTER 1

Memory Verse

But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were in dread of the children of Israel.
Exodus 1:12 NKJV

God's Word

Subsequently, all the generations of Joseph died, then there is a new king arise in Egypt who doesn't know Joseph. He sees how the Hebrews multiply and he fear that they might rise up against him. And so he did the children of Israel as his workers, but the more they were afflicted, then the more they multiply.

Affliction - the state of being affected by something that causes suffering

Christians must be a portion of Christ's sufferings. But the more we endure, then the more we grow upon the Lord.
God's favor is also with us, for we are a new generation of Israel spiritually through our Lord Jesus Christ. He will never leave us nor forsake us.
When I began to walk in my Christian life, there is affliction comes my way. I have experienced lack of food or anything that I need, but still I continue serving Him.
With my two brethren, we serve the Lord right in spite of afflictions. No matter how difficult the situations we kept our faith.
Even though, some people look down on us, but even so we prove them that what we do for the Lord is the best thing.
We go forward to do our Bible studies everywhere, we cannot hide the compassion for people and learned to sacrifice even our own needs just to reach out many for Christ.
And so the more we persecute the more we ignite in serving the Lord. And today, I see the labor that we sacrifice before. We have raised leaders that also serve God  and we continue to multiply it is because we recognize that the more we are afflicted, then the more we multiply and grow in the Lord.
