EXODUS CHAPTER 7

Memory Verse

Pharaoh’s heart, however, remained hard. He still refused to listen, just as the Lord had predicted.
Exodus 7:13 NLT

God's Word

Pharaoh's heart was hardened by what he believes in. Because the miracle that done by Moses and Aaron also did by his magicians. Sometimes it is too hard to share the gospel to those who are wiser rather than for those who are fooled. Pharaoh is a king who knows many things but doesn't know the Lord. So that, it hardens his heart.

Even us as Christians, must be aware of our hearts. Because it may lead us into perishes if we don't guard it better. Also, let our understanding be lean only in the Lord. Because the more we know the world, the more we less the Lord.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Proverbs 3:5‭-‬6 NLT

One of the things that gets my heart harden was when I have become addicted in online games. It happens when I was working at the computer shop. It slipped my time to God and my daily devotion had been stopped. But then, the moment that I have opened my Friendster account, my favorite song had been played automatically, the song "Through It All" by Hillsong, and I have realized that I was already too far from Him because of not giving Him a quality time.
And then, I have decided to surrender my whole life to God. I surrender my job by quitting, and stop to play online gaming. Then, I repent wholeheartedly and do not get back in that online game. And I have focused myself on serving God in my ministry in the church and outside the church. And God gave me a new job where can I share His Word and has a higher salary than before. I see that if you quit for something that hardens your heart He will replace it with His miracle.
By sharing His Word I do believe that He will touch every heart to be softened. It is He who told us...

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
Ezekiel 36:26 NKJV

If God commanded us, do not harden our hearts, let us obey Him and experience the miracles that He will do upon our lives.
