Chapter Thirty-Seven

When I left the four of them in that forest I could feel their fear and it was a beautiful thing. I loved fear almost as much as I loved blood. Which I was craving badly at that exact moment but I needed to do one thing first.

I appeared back into Heyel's home and considering it hadn't been that long ago that I had left I was curious on why there were new scents here and one of them being very familiar to us.

I wondered if I should be mad that someone had intruded on what I considered my prey. But it didn't really matter either way I would get what I came for if he was still breathing otherwise I would kill everyone whether they were friend or foes of Elizabeth's or not.

I was moving quietly throughout the house moving to where I could hear their soft sounds of their beating hearts as the blood pumped through their veins. by the time I got close enough to see both Heyel and the female stitching him up I could hear them speaking.

"I know who you are mate and I'm thoroughly disgusted that I would be tied to someone like you for life." The girl spoke in harsh tones

Yes I recognized her looks and her scent. It was Luna, Elizabeth's cousin on her fathers side but she had changed her hair. it was now dyed purple with blue tips. I could tell she was angry though for her power was radiating through out the room.

"I know your angry at me little one and you have every right to be. I didn't think I had a mate out there other wise I would have searched for you had I known." Hayel spoke softly but you could tell he was in pain

"Lies, that's all you speak in. You wouldn't know a truth if it bit you in the ass. Now what have you done to my cousin this time and don't lie to? Mate or not I will kill you for harming my family." Luna growled out in a deadly tone

But I could tell from where I was standing how much it pained her to say that. Did I care? No I really didn't and in fact it thought it highly amusing to watch this little scene unfold. A little sadistic yes, but as long as she didn't kill him I would let it happen till I got bored, hungry, or both.

"Your right about my lies in the past but I'm not lying to you now. I'm laying here almost half dead thanks to her. Yes I took Elizabeth, I found her after I felt a part of my power awaken inside her from when I saved her as a baby." Heyel spoke harshly

"I thought finally I can use her like I had been wanting to do since the beginning and it was perfect since she was all alone. So yes I grabbed her, I even changed her and dressed in a white night gown and laid her down on that bed behind you." Heyel continued to speak while pointing to the bed

"I thought I had it all figured out. The power would awaken and I would bring it fully out while making sure Elizabeth's mind was locked away and her memories wiped away. I could start fresh with a new canvas I thought my plan was perfect and fool proof. But I was wrong so very wrong." Heyel spoke in near tears at the end

"It may share a part of my power but what ever woke up its not like anything I've seen before. She still had some of Elizabeth's memories enough of them to know she hated me. That thing nearly killed me and laughed while she did it all because I didn't play her game." Heyel said while looking at Luna's back

"I was literally at deaths door when you appeared in the mirror and I thought it was just a trick of the mind. Giving me the one thing I craved just as I was facing death, like death laughing at me showing me what I could have had. Then I woke up and realized two things, one I was still alive and two you were very much real." Heyel spoke nearly reaching out to touch her in case she disappeared

"Now in some ways I wish I had died for it would be less cruel. I would rather die and never had met you then live in a life knowing you and know I will never have you because of the terrible deeds I have done." Heyel said while trying to move
