1. Lysandre was able to activate the Ultimate Weapon, causing the end of the world. Only Ash and his Kalos team were somehow able to survive the explosion. Arceus sends them back in time to try to prevent the disaster.
2. Ash is dying as a result of the bond phenomenon. As Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie race to find a way to save him, Greninja is left to make a difficult decision-to stay by Ash's side, or to leave him but lose everything he's come to love in the process.
3. Tired of seeing Ash get hurt every time they synchronize, Greninja decides to leave his trainer. A year passes before he finally realizes he doesn't want to be without him. He goes searching for Ash, but when he finds him again, he discovers that his trainer isn't exactly in the most forgiving mood. Greninja must do everything in his power to earn Ash's friendship back and prove to him that he can be trusted.
4. Ash has been missing for almost a year now. Just when everyone is starting to believe him dead, he appears at his own memorial service.
5. Have you ever wondered what Greninja's other trainers were like? Well, wonder no more. From abusive trainers to idiotic ones to ones that just didn't care, follow Froakie through his journey to find the trainer he's been waiting his whole life for.
