If only she knew how I felt about her.
-------------------------------------------------------

John's POV

I wake up to (Y/N) on top of me telling me to wake up. "Let's go sleepy head we got classes today!" She says, still on top of me. I forgot that we had classes. "Well I can't get up if you stay on top of me" I joke. "Right....." she trails off, blushing. She soon gets off of me so I can get ready for my first class.

A/N just so you guys know, I won't be putting specific classes because I don't know what classes they have at a school for technology

(Y/N) and I have different first classes. Come to think of it, all of our classes are different. Except for the last class for computer programming. We're both in that class together. "Well I'll see you at the last class of the day" I say with a hint of sarcasm. "Alright, see you then!" She says back. I find myself wanting the day to be over so I can sit next to her in class.

I'm one of the first in the class, so I sit down wherever I want. (Y/N) isn't here yet, so I'm sitting alone. I look up out the door and see (Y/N)... with Thomas. When they get to the room, Thomas kisses (Y/N) on the lips. I feel jealousy burning inside of me. I want it to be me kissing her, not him.

(Y/N)'s POV

I walk to my class with Thomas. I'm excited because it's my one class period with John. We get to the class, so I say goodbye to Jefferson. Just as I'm saying goodbye, he pulls me in and kisses me on the lips. He knew John was in the classroom. That's the only reason why he kissed me. I quickly walk into the room and find a seat next to Laurens.

I can tell Laurens is upset. He saw the whole thing. "You saw him kiss me didn't you" I ask him. He nods his head. "I'm sorry, he only did that because he knew you were in here" I explain to him. He is still silent. "Hey, I know the group of us are going to the dance tonight, but...." here goes nothing, "will you be my date?" Well, there goes my friendship with my crush. "Of course I will (Y/N)!" He says almost immediately.

Thank god he said yes. Wait, does that mean he has feelings for me? He's probably just being nice. Either way, I know I'm going to have fun, because I lied to Thomas and said I wasn't going to go. He told me he wasn't going to go either so I won't see him there. I focus my attention to the computer and starting working, pushing the thoughts of choosing between John and Thomas.

John's POV

The class ends and I walk with (Y/N) to my dorm. No, our dorm. As we're walking back, I hear an all too familiar voice yell. "Hey bab- WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING WITH HIM YOU SLUT!?" Thomas screams. (Y/N) jumps back and responds surprisingly calmly. "Thomas, sweetie, he's my roommate, remember? We're going to our dorm, no need to worry." Damn, she handled that well. I'm even more in love with her.

Just then Thomas looks at me. "I swear to God if you fucking touch her I'll have your head" he mutters angrily. He then turns his attention to (Y/N). He slaps her. "If this happens again, you will be punished." He grabs her shirt. I can see (Y/N) on the verge of tears. "You're mine, remember that." He then walks off.

As soon as I know Thomas can't see us, I pull (Y/N) into a hug. She starts sobbing into my shirt. "I won't let him do that to you ever again, I promise" I tell her, close to crying. It hurts me to see her hurt. "Thank..... you" she says hyperventilating. "C'mon, lets go back to our dorm and get ready for the dance" I say. She seems to calm down a bit and stops crying.

"Okay, let's do that" she says looking up at me. "Hey" I say, putting my index finger and thumb under her chin. I lift her head towards me and wipe away a few remaining tears. I make sure that Thomas and his friends aren't anywhere near us. 'Here goes nothing' I think to myself.
