(Y/N)'s POV

It's been a while since Alex was born. He's 8 now and the twins are finishing up highschool and heading to college. A few things happened along the way too. Lafayette and Angelica got a divorce because Laf is gay. Same thing with Herc and Carlie. Guess who's together? MULLETTE ALL THE WAYYYYY!!!! Carlie found another boyfriend but idk his name. Angelica got remarried to some guy named John Church. I'm lucky to still have John, no affairs, nothing wrong, just a happy married couple.

     A few hours later John gets home from something he was doing. "Hey baby" I say. "Hi" he replies glumly. "What's wrong?" I ask.

John's POV

     "I'm sick. I'm very sick (Y/N)." I hate that I have to tell her this. I hate that I have cancer. I hate that I'm going to die in a few months. I hate that I made her cry.

     "It'll all be okay" I lie. She looks up at me. "How?" She asks. "I can go in for chemo and other treatments and hope it works." Key word there is hope. "Well I hope it does. I don't want to lose you" She says. We hug as she cries on my shoulder. I hope I get better.

{2 year time skip}

(Y/N)'s POV

     I'm driving home from John's last appointment. He's going to live!! After all of that, going through hell and back he's going to live. "I love you so much John." "I love you too, (Y/N)."

{10 Years later}

Eliza's POV

     Peggy and Maria are gone. So is Phillip. I can't believe they're all gone. They got into a car accident one night. How could I let that happen?

(Y/N)'s POV

     The person I hated is gone. Someone who was like a little sister to me is gone. My brother-in-law is gone. All because of one car accident. "John?" I speak into the silence of the house. "Yeah?" He replies looking at me. His eyes are red and puffy from crying. "Honey, I love you, and we're going to get through this, ok?" He nods his head and kisses me. "We'll get through this."

{Another 10 Years later}

Lafayette's POV

     Herc is gone. After the accident, he became an alcoholic. He got alcohol poisoning. Now he's gone.

{20 YEARS LATER OMG IM SO LAZY}

(Y/N)'s POV

     Only John and I are left. Angie died from old age. Same as Eliza. Laf caught an incurable disease. We still have the kids though, and they're all married and have children. Alex cheated on his wife though. Yeah I can't believe it either. He wrote a whole pamphlet about it too.

     John is sick again. I'm writing about all of my friends. Their stories deserve to be told. I don't want John to go. He's been with me this long. He starts a coughing fit that he can't stop.

     "John!" I rush over to him. "I'm sorry" he says. "Sorry for what?" I ask. "Goodbye (Y/N), I love you." No not yet. Tears are streaming down my face. "I'll see you on the other side" he says. "Raise a glass to freedom" I sing while sobbing. He closes his eyes as his chest heaves one last time. "Something they can never take away..."

{5 Years later}

     My time has come. I get to see Eliza, Angelica, the gays, Alexander, and John again. I see someone walk towards me in a bright light. "John?" "Yes (Y/N)?" I run towards him and jump into his arms. "Are you ready?" He asks. I start to see more people. There's Angelica and Eliza with Alexander! "I am." I walk further into the white light. I see everyone I've ever loved. I kiss John. "Don't ever say goodbye again John" I say. "Why?" He asks.
