Chapter 30

John's POV

     It's the 23rd. I don't have a ring. Fuuuuuuuuu- anyway.... today we're going to the mall to get gifts. I also don't know (Y/N)'s ring size. I really planned this out didn't I. I guess I have to ask her.

     "Hey (Y/N), random question, what's your ring size?" I ask. Very subtle John, she won't even know why I'm asking. "That's a....strange question..... anyway I'm a 6" she replies. She probably knows at this point but oh fucking well. The whole gang gets in the car and we go to the mall.

    "Let's listen to some music" Eliza says plugging her phone in with the AUX cord. What does she play? What the Heck I Gotta Do. That's what she decides to play out of ALL THE SONGS IN THE WORLD. I see her smirking and I glare at her. I look over at (Y/N) and she's singing along to my track. I smile and forget why I'm angry at Eliza.

     We get to the mall and walk inside. "Alright, everyone split up, get your gifts, and meet back here in about an hour and a half, got it?" Herc says. "Wow Herc I didn't know you planned things out" Alex says jokingly. Peggy glares at him and he stops talking. I laugh at the situation. "Alright let's go" I say and we all go our separate ways.

     I go to the ring shop first so I know I won't run into (Y/N). I walk into the store and go to the lady behind the counter. "Why hello there handsome, what do you need?" She says with a thick southern accent. "I would like to look at some wedding rings" I say. She nods and leads me to the rings. I pick out the ring I want for (Y/N), pay, and buy everyone else's gifts.

     I go to the place that we're all going to meet up and notice (Y/N) is already there. She looks sad. I run over to her. "Babe what happened?" I ask calmly. As soon as I speak she breaks down into tears. "T-thomas" she says. "Where is he and what did he do?" I ask without the calmness this time. "H-he said that y-you don't love me a-and that you're cheating-" is all she can get out before she's a mess of sobs. I calm her down a bit and she finishes her sentence. "That you're cheating on me with Peggy" she finishes. "(Y/N) you know I wouldn't do that to you" I say.

     "He showed me a picture of her on top of you" she says. I suddenly remember what she's talking about. "No no no she was on top of me because she tackled me. I told her something I was planning and she tackled me" I explain. She nods and hugs me. "I'm sorry" she says. Her voice is muffled by my chest. "What are you sorry about? You didn't do anything" I say. She looks up and kisses me. "GET A ROOOOOM" I hear Alex yell. "Well there's the rest of them" I say and she giggles.

     The rest of our group with the exception of Angie and Laf walks over to us. "Ready to go lovebirds?" Herc asks with his arm around Peggy's waist. "We've been ready to go, you're the ones taking forever" (Y/N) says. "True, true, anyway let's go" Herc says. We all walk out of the mall and to the car.

     We get home, A.K.A Herc's parents' house. I hide the gifts under the bed I share with (Y/N) and she hides hers in the closet. "What time is it?" She asks. "Ummmm, it's 10:15" I say. "Damn, I'm tired, I'm going to bed" she says. "Me too" I say yawning. We crawl under the covers and fall into a deep sleep with her in my arms. God I lover her so much. I can't lose you.
