A lawsuit against Kai Brooks...

I turn around from their conversation.

Kai made a mistake, a big one, if only they knew him like how I do.

God, Kai why did you have to be so fucking stupid?

He never meant any harm... he really didn't. I mean, he was an idiot for it being a hit and run.

But, he's a good person deep down. I mean, he's going to be a fucking doctor.

He doesn't mean to cause pain.

But don't expect me to help him get out of the mess he caused on himself.

I hear footsteps coming from behind me, quick and sudden.

"Ashlyn, ash, hey. Yo, what are you doing?" A deep voice asks.

I turn around, "What, Colby?"

"Why are you spying on-"

I then hear Mr. and Mrs. Golbach walking in our direction and I almost crapped myself.

I look frantically for the nearest place to hide and I saw the supply closet just a step away.

I cut Colby off by dragging his arm, opening the door to the closet, and shoving him in along with myself.

The closet was small, but not cramped, thankfully.

"Dude, what the fuck are you doing?" Colby asks.

"SHHH," I cover his mouth and hush him. He smirks, and I already know what he's thinking.

I raise an eyebrow, "No. We are not here to make out."

He rolls his eyes, "I wasn't going to say that."

"You thought it," I accuse.

"Bitch."

"Asshole."

"Hoe."

"Dick!"

"Fucking cock sucking gypsy!"

"I want to actually murder you if you don't shut the fuck up," I angrily whisper, roughly smacking his arm.

He mumbles an 'okay,' as we wait for a minute or two to go by.

"So, why are we in a closet?" Colby finally asks.

"I found some shit out..." I reply.

He raises an eyebrow, intrigued, "Shit? Why were you eavesdropping on Sam's parents?"

"Well, why were you looking for me?" I retort.

"Because nobody knew where you put the cupcakes!" He exclaims.

I shush him again, "I put them in the bag with the chips, jeez."

"Oh, we didn't know that..." He shrugs. "-So, why'd you spy on Sam's parents?"

"You really gotta know?" I sigh.

"Duh, he's my best friend."

I shake my head, "Yeah, I know that, but you can't tell him what I'm about to tell you."

"Why not?" He asks.

"Because apparently not alot of people are suppose to know or something. Better be safe than sorry, so you should just keep your mouth shut," I conclude.
