As they walked into their house they were greeted by the other three girls. Karl ran to his room to grab some toys dragging Leigh-Anne with him as the rest went to sit on the various couches.

Jade sat next to Tyler and curled into him. She was hurting but wouldn't admit it.

"Will you please take the pills?" He said quietly. She shook her head before Norma left the room. When she came back she had pain killers in one hand and a glass of water in the other.

"Take the pills." Jade huffed before grabbing them out of Norma's hand. She swallowed the pills before looking up at her mum. The older woman's jaw dropped. The two in front of her looked at her confused.

"Mum what's wrong?" She asked after she had taken the pills. Tears rolled down Norma's face before Jade finally realized what she was shocked about. She came forward and cupped her daughters cheeks.

"My baby's getting married." She said happily before kissing her cheek and then Tyler's. Jesy squealed at the words before moving to smash Tyler in a hug. She gently pulled Jade into the hug a large smile on her face.

"It's about damn time. I've been waiting for your wedding for years." They both chuckled as Jesy and Norma moved to sit back down. Perrie sat there with a smile on her face. "You knew didn't you?" Jesy asked Perrie. The blonde nodded. "Can we please wait and see how long it takes Leigh to figure it out?" They all chuckled and nodded.

When Leigh and Karl came back down, Karl had a bunch of board games in his arms. He looked at everyone his lips in a slight pout as he flashed his perfect puppy dog eyes.

"We'll play baby K." Jade said to which everyone agreed. Karl grabbed out the monopoly before Tyler scooped up a laughing Karl. They all moved to the table. Karl sat on Tyler's lap as the rest of them sat by themselves in the other chairs.

The two boys always played together especially with monopoly. As they all picked their pieces Jade made sure to keep her ring visible. When Karl grabbed her hand they all looked at him. A knowing smile crossed his face.

Leigh was doing everything to stay quiet but Tyler could tell she was about to explode as Karl spoke.

"You're going to get married?" He asked quietly. Tyler kissed the top of his head as Jade nodded. A smile lit up Karl's face. He moved so he could kiss his mother. "Do I get to be in the wedding?" They both chuckled and smiled.

"Of course you do baba." He moved from Tyler's lap to Jades once she spoke. Leigh finally reached her boiling point and loudly squealed in delight.

"Finally!" She just about screamed. As she ran towards Jade, Tyler caught her before she smashed into the brunette. "Sorry. I forgot." She said before she hugged him and then Jade. "Please. Please. Please. Let me design your wedding dress." Jade smiled while looking over at Tyler who mouthed. 'All you.'

"Of course Leigh." She screamed happily before promising her to make her look beautiful.

By the end of the day they had played more than five different games. As the girls left they all expressed how excited they were for the wedding. Norma left an hour later ensuring that she would be back tomorrow and would bring food.

Finally the three were left. Alone for the first time in what felt like years. They had turned a movie on Karl had been dying to watch. Their son was tucked between them while their legs were tangled together. Tyler moved Karl into her lap before scooting closer to her.

His arm wrapped around her back as she leaned against him. He kissed her temple as Karl moved to lean against his father.

"I love you." She whispered into his ear. Tyler smiled before kissing her lips and whispering against them.

"I love you more." It was in that moment that she knew she chose the right person to be with that one December day.

As they pulled away a smile crossed her face as she thought of the memory.

It was a chilly December day, five years ago. The twenty-fifth to be exact. Jade was with the other girls of Little Mix for a holiday roast. Her phone rang with the caller ID of  Elena, Tyler's mum. Knowing how weird it was for her to call she stepped out of the room and answered it.

There was loud banging and crashing in the background. Jade immediately knew what had happened. Tyler's sick father had passed.

"I'm sorry to bother you sweetie." Jade could hear the sadness in her voice. "I-I just don't know what to do. I-I'm afraid he's going to hurt himself." Jade sighed. They hadn't talked in months and now they wanted her to drop everything. When Perrie entered the kitchen she gave Jade a look that said she better say yes.

"I'll be there soon." Elena thanked her before Jade hung up. "Why did you do that?" She asked while hitting Perrie on the arm.

"Because you need to see him and be there for him. You also need to finally admit that you have feelings from him. Fuck that you've been friends for years, you love him. Now get your ass to his house before he really does some damage." Jade nodded at her best friends once she promised that she would explain to everyone why she left.

By the time she got to Tyler's house his car was the only one left. She shakily reached for the door before opening it. She saw him in a ball on the floor crying. She closed the door before quickly going over to his side. He had cuts all over his body, as she looked around the house she saw the destruction he had done.

Lamps were smashed. There were holes in the wall. A chair was shattered into a million pieces. She knew that that was probably just a scratch of the damage he had done.

She moved his head to her lap her fingers running through his hair. He turned and buried his face in her legs his arms wrapping around her waist. Her hands gently massaged his shoulders as he slowly calmed.

"I'm sorry Ty." She said softly. A sob left his lips before he cuddled into her. Perrie was right. She did have feelings for him, but he was broken and now was not the time to admit it. "Come on. Let's get you cleaned up." He sighed before nodding.

They silently moved to the bathroom. Jade tugged on his shirt before he pulled it off. Cuts covered his back and chest. He sat on the edge of the tub as she slowly cleaned each cut.

No words were exchanged. None were needed. When she finished she grabbed his hand before guiding him to the bed. She climbed in as he stopped and grabbed a shirt. She wanted to protest but knew better.

When he climbed into the bed next to her his face buried into the crook of her neck. As his arms wrapped around her waist hers did the same around his neck. When he moved away and looked into her eyes he had an overwhelming urge to kiss her. He pushed it away before speaking.

"Thank you for everything." He said softly.

"It's not a problem baba." She said softly. He was about to speak when she simply hushed him before pressing her lips against him.

Every emotion was felt in that kiss.

It was their first.

But it wouldn't be their last.
