A "What-If?" Special Chapter - Naruto Rejects Nia

A/N - Hi guys, okay so I know you all are expecting a new chapter and don't worry that's already done but FIRST, oml, there have been a ton of people asking me over and over in my inbox, "Janae-senpai! Janae-senpai! What would it be like if Naruto had rejected Nia or blah blah blah blah blah?" Lol

So! Because this has been happening for quite some time, I've decided to make a special chapter to answer one of these questions. Lmao, just think of it as filler 😂😂😂 I know a lot of people are going to be annoyed but this really seems to bug a lot of you guys' curiosity so I'm just gonna do it.

Here's the rundown: This is practically a chapter where Naruto rejects Nia solely because he doesn't think she's beautiful enough. In other words, she's not pretty enough for him and he could never like her NO MATTER how she treats him, does for him, cares deeply for him, etc. Looks is his number one basically when finding a partner. He's shallow ashl so to say in this.

ALSO, the confession in the beginning is taken from Chapter 54 from when Nia was daydreaming a scenario of her being rejected. I'm just putting A LOT more into this for you guys.

Nia stood before Naruto in the forest at night while everyone was asleep and the moon and stars was their only source of light. It was during the very same night she asked the boy to sleep with her to keep the spiders and rats away.

"Is there something you wanna talk to me about?" Naruto asked as he watched Nia seem extremely nervous and even trembling a bit.

She nodded, "Mhm... I need to... to tell you something important."

"Hm?"

Nia took a deep breath then calmly said, "Naruto, ever since you've helped me in that chakra draining cavern, I've been... developing... feelings for you..."

"Feelings... for me?" He seemed confused, "What kind of feelings are you talking about, Curly Brow?"

Nia's trembling got worse. She was so nervous and scared. This maybe have been the fourth or fifth time she's ever confessed to someone straight to their face. Though she should've been used to things like this, she wasn't. She had always been rejected because of her appearance. That in turn made her feel unworthy and a complete nervous wreck.

"W-What I'm trying to say is..." The girl fidgeted as she then put her hands behind her back to keep Naruto from seeing her in that state, "Is that... is that... I like you... Naruto."

The genin placed his arms behind his head and grinned, "Oh! Why didn't you just say so? I like you too, Curly Brow. You're a really good friend."

"No!" Nia understood the blond didn't get what she was trying to tell him, "I meant..."

She then gazed into his grey eyes as the darkness of night had always changed his normally blue eyes into that for just a few hours each night. To her, they were beautiful no matter what color it changed into. She was in love with the guy.

"I like you, Naruto." She made sure to emphasize the word "like".

"Eh?" He finally seemed to understand what she was trying to tell him. Slowly, he took his arms away from his head then pointed at her with his index finger, "You like..."
