Zhi Rou's POV

"You what?!" Yuyan almost choke down her food.

Apparently I told her my previous relationship and more specifically about the guy which was my worst thing that happened during Junior High.

I don't have any intentions and I'm not that type of person who would talk about alot of myself but Yuyan is a little bit pain in the ass

"Yeah, you heard my right. I dated a guy and I got fooled" I said while playing with the left overs on my plate

"Where is he now?" she changed the topic.

"Do I look like I know?" I asked in sarcasm. She nudge me and gestures me to get up, ofcourse time's up we still have classes to attend to

"Stop being so negative Ruo. I was only asking ya know"

"I'm not. I just don't want to talk about him OK?"

"Oh forget it. It's just the first day of school, who knows he might be here" Yuyan giggled practically teasing me. I push her while we walk across the hallway

"I don't care. Shut up"

The truth is, I don't know. I'm still scared of seeing him, even when Yuyan was only mentioning his name I could feel my stomach squeezed as if I have an upset tummy.

I loved him, I used to love him so much. But when I found out that he was only interested with me because of a stupid bet, my heart snapped and it was shattered into million pieces

I knew for myself that I already moved on, I know and I just know.

We arrived in our classroom. I slump my back to the plastic chair and planted my face to my desk, Mr Lu is expected to be arriving soon but don't even bother, he's just our homeroom teacher and he only checks the attendance then trailed off as fast as lightning

"Ruo, wanna hear a joke?" Yuyan asked while shooking my arms.

I groan loudly, "Go away"

"Just hear it please?"

She's at it again and I really hated it. She would often tell me nonsense joke, I could only scream in response after that

"Just let me tell you--" I cut her off when I suddenly stand up; my fist were clenched into the air. Yuyan stiffled a laugh, slowly taking few steps backwards. When I was about to hit her in a playful way. The door suddenly flung open

We instantly sat down on our as soon as Mr Lu got in.

"I'll punch you later" I mouthed to Yuyan sitting beside me. Well, temporarily since I don't have anyone sitting beside me. She laughed, "Call"

"Everyone, eyes on me. I have few announcement" Mr Lu said as he place down his record book on the table

He clasps his hands before he continues, "Although today's just the first day of your senior year. We have already settled down your online assignments, you can check them out our portal"

We groaned in sync, this is unbelievable. Can't we have atleast an afternoon break?

"School sucks" one of my classmate bluntly said. We all burst out laughing, Mr Lu's shook his head in dismay

"Kids, watch your words please? We don't tolerate that to class--"

"Anyways, the last one I need to tell you all is that, we have another transfer student from Beijing," he went to the doorcase and ordered someone to get in.

My eyes widen as soon as Mr Lu mentioned Beijing, that is where I used to live up until JHS.

Everyone was in utterly in surprise. They knew Beijing was a long way for them, I mean it's a city and we're living here in a small town

As soon as that someone stepped in, my eyes almost bulge out from socket. This isn't him right? RIGHT?!

He was fragile; a tall guy, his skin was almost like a porcelain, he has unique facial features; his sharp nose even his gaze, the cold yet frightening one and his hair, the one with spikes, he really is a city boy by just judging his looks

"Dylan?" I blurted, as if it's my luck, he heard me and stared at me with a complete blank expression

"Who are you? How did you know my name?" he furrowed his eyebrow.

He doesn't recognized me at all? Are you dead serious?

Half of me was internally happy and half of me? Frustrated, frustrated because he doesn't even know or remember me

Yeah right, he probably dated a lot of girls back then. What do you expect Zhi Rou, get yourself together. You got tricked okay?!

"Do you know each other?" Mr Lu questioned him. He glance back at me, I gulped nervously

"No, sir" he said. I felt my heart ache
