Thursday night came quicker than Finn expected.

He and Grace were backstage at Gaten's show waiting for Millie to come with her friends. Finn was nervous. He didn't know what to expect from Millie. They hadn't talked since their fight yesterday, and she was silent on social media too. Would she act normal? Would she put on an act like they hadn't had a fight the day before?

"Why are you so worried?" Grace asked him as she stole a bag of chips off the table of snacks that were meant for the band.

"Because I don't need you guys scaring her," Finn partly lied. He really didn't want Grace and Gaten to be too much, but the real reason was in the back of his head.

Grace scoffed and pulled his hand away from his mouth where he was chewing his nails, "I'm not going to scare her.

"Grace you and I both know that you can't hide your emotions. Your face says it all," Finn said bringing his hand back up to his mouth.

Grace pulled his hand away again, "Well I'll try really hard to hide my emotions today. Besides, she's America's Sweetheart, I'm sure she's called that for some reason."

Because she's one hell of an actress, Finn thought to himself as Grace ate her chips. He nodded at her, not really feeling up to talking anymore. His phone dinged, signaling that he had a new message.

Pia: Tonight is a big night. You have to mesh with Millie's friends and she needs to mesh with yours. That means make sure Grace likes her!! Take lots of pictures with everyone and make sure some get posted. No posts on anything but your stories though. Have fun!

Finn sighed as he read over the message. He hated the fact that he had to act like he and Millie were on good terms all night. The door opening had Finn and Grace's heads snapping up. One of the backstage workers came in, Millie following with her three friends.

"Hey!" Millie said with a smile. She hugged Finn, a smile plastered on her face.

Finn hugged back and he couldn't help but feel stiff. It was weird how easy she could be someone completely different than who she really was. They pulled apart and Finn gave a weak smile before gesturing to Grace.

"This is my best friend Grace," he said as Grace stood there.

Millie smiled and held out her hand to Grace politely. Grace looked at her hand and Finn nudged her arm when she didn't offer her hand back. Grace seemed to snap out of it and gave a small smile.

"It's nice to finally meet you Millie," she said glancing at Finn slightly.

"I'm Noah," Noah stepped forward and shook Grace's hand as soon as she let go of Millie's.

Grace raised her eyebrows at him, Millie doing the same.

"This is Caleb and Noah and this is Sadie," Millie gestured to her friends, "Guys, this is Finn."

"Hi Sadie," Grace said with a sweet smile, "Nice to finally have some girls around here."

Sadie shook her hand with a smile and a little laugh. Finn couldn't help but wonder why she hadn't said the same to Millie. He shook it off, trying not to be awkward. They all have their greetings and then it got quiet.

"The show starts soon, we should go up to the seats," Finn said not wanting to make it any more weird.

They all followed Finn, the sound of the excited crowd getting louder and louder. They came to some stairs, and Finn flashed the man blocking them his ID. He moved out of the way, letting Finn and everyone following go up. There were comfy looking chairs lined up with some railing in front of them, and Finn walked all the way to the end. Millie followed and sat next to him, the rest following suit.
