Jae couldn't forgive himself, the last week was one big drama in their house as Renjun refused to talk to them both, refused to stay at Sicheng, he even wanted to be in the contestants' house instead of the castle and they let him. Yes, it hurt even more when Taeyong came to him all cried out saying Junie wants to find out about his parents. Jae's heart was breaking, it was all his fault, because he and Sicheng, because of one mistake that has alley been haunting him all his life.

"He will forgive us, I hope. He needs his time," muttered Taeyong when they stopped the car in front of thy building they both had hoped to never ever see again.

The orphanage where they had found Renjun in, from which Jae had rescued the boy.

"Let's go," Taeyong put his sunglasses on, to cover how red and cried out his eyes were when Jae took a few big breaths in to relax. It felt surreal, to enter this long corridor he had carried Renjun out of years ago, to find the head's office upstairs. It hasn't changed a bit, even if the facility had new workers, better ones, Jae hoped, he could hear Junie's cries ringing in the walls.

They knocked then walked inside the office to see a middle-aged man nodding to them.

He pointed them to the wooden chairs, offered them coffee.

"No thank you, we're here to find out something about our son's past," said Taeyong sitting down.

"I'm all ear," the man smiled in a nervous way.

"We had adopted Huang Renjun eight years ago, he has been in your facility for three years, now he's a teenager asking a lot of questions, seeking for himself, he needs to know where his roots come from, if there's any information who his parents were, how they looked like, anything" said Taeyong.

Jae was quiet, he observed his boyfriend who was as always completely calm, doing a great job in the negotiations.

"Do you have problems with the kid?" asked the man.

"No, it's normal for a teenage boy to be curious, to search for his true identity, we want to help him as much as we can," Taeyong glanced at Jae all worried.

"We rather not give out this kind of information but you're a public person our facility had a lot of trouble with," the man laughed in a fake way. "So yes, I'll check the old papers."

He got up walking to a wardrobe, opening it, searching through tonnes of files till he found the year when Renjun had been brought to their facility.

They barely breathed when he opened the fail looking through it.

"Your son was extremely lucky, most of the kids stay here till they the legal age," muttered the man.

Jae reached out to squeeze Taeyng's hand that was as wet as his own.

"Oh, here he is, Huang Renjun," the man lifted a paper. "Brought here on May 20th, no family members left alive, no relatives that could take care of him, he had no belongings with him, just a paper with his date of birth, name, and surname. I think a neighbor had brought him after his parents never returned home, yes that's all," the man handed them the paper with a photo of a three-year-old Renjun.

"It that it?" asked Jae stunned.

"Where had he lived, do you have an address? Anything?" asked Taeyong.

"Sorry, that's all we have," the man shrugged.

"The name of the city or village he came from?" Taeyong raised his voice a little so Jae squeezed his hand tighter.

The man shook his head.

"It's all we have, from what I suspect it was a family of some refugees, they didn't want to leave traces about where they come from or who they are."

Taeyong took a loud breath in when Jae was still staring at the piece of paper.

"Is there any place where we can find anything more?" asked Taeyong.

"I'm afraid no sir, especially as it has been years," the man shook his head.

"Ok, ok, thank you," Taeyong got up.

Jae did too, he shook the man's hand absentmindedly then both left the facility quickly. Jae could only breath in when he stopped on the car park in the fresh air.

"What now?" he asked.

"I don't know, we can't go back to Junie with nothing, he won'tgot believe us, that they don't have any info," whispered Taeyong.

"I know," Jae wanted to punch himself, really did they had to fuck up so much as parents.

No wonder, Junie wanted to be anywhere else, but not with them.

"I'll think about it, speak to his therapist," muttered Taeyong.

"Ok," Jae turned towards the building, listening carefully, but there wasn't anyone crying for help, so he jumped into the car starting the engine quickly.
