Midoriya was indeed running late to school. The bell had already rang when he arrived there. The math teacher gave him a dirty look when he entered the classroom obviously later than the others.
"And why are you late, mister Midoriya?",questioned the teacher, clearly irritated that the boy was interrupting his lesson by being late.
"SORRY I-IT WONT HAPPEN AGAIN, SIR!" the boy replied back while quickly bowing to his teacher and rushing to is seat.
The class went on for another hour "only two hours left" Midoriya said to himself
After a long two hours went by, the class had finally ended. It was now time for lunch. Midoriya met up with his friends at their usual table in the cafeteria after buying himself some food.
"MIDORIYA-KUN!", a voice yelled out.
"Hey iida-kun.",the green haired boy replied after sitting down
"Why were you late this morning?" he questioned
"That was because.. because the bus was late!" the younger quickly said.
Midoriya didn't want to tell iida-kun that he was late because a hot guy was texting him. Iida-kun was his friend but he would definitely be disappointed in him if he were to say that
"since when do you take the bus?", Uraraka-chan joined in
"S-since a long time ago! I feel like I'm being interrogated sheesh, guys. I was just late no big deal"
The trio talked until having to part different ways because of the bell. After checking his schedule to make sure not to go into the wrong class, Midoriya walked towards his history class.
The teacher was giving a lecture on Greeks or something. Midoriya wasn't listening. He got snapped out of his thoughts when his teacher kept calling on him.
"Midoriya ?" he said
"Midoriya?" he questioned, once again.
"Midoriya, are you listening?" he asked, starting to get irritated.
"UH - Uh yES SIR!" Midoriya replied not knowing what the teacher had asked
"do you know the answer?" the teacher responded, knowing that the younger hadn't been listening to the class.
"can you uH- repeat the question please", Midoriya asked shyly.
"I said ; who was the "father of history" who dealt with the heroic theme of the great clash between the Greeks and the Persians?"
Midoriya gulped , afraid to answer. He didn't want to embarrass himself by giving out the wrong answer but he didn't want others to think he didn't know the answer either so he gave it his best shot and replied :
"H-herodotus?" he replied hesitantly.
"correct! Actually we weren't even talking about anything related to him. I noticed you weren't listening and I just asked you a random question. We haven't even learned about this yet so I'm surprised you already know the answer!" The teacher replied
"O-oh"
THIS IS SOOOO EMBARRASSING
"where did you learn about it?"
" I was just reading a book and they talked about him.", the boy answered shyly
"See students, this is why reading books is important! It can teach you a lot of things"
"DOES READING SMUT ON WATTPAD COUNT? IT TAUGHT ME HOW TO HIT THE RIGHT SPOT!" A boy named mineta yelled back from the back of the class
That's when the chaos in history class started. All the girls were throwing books at mineta while the history teacher was trying to calm them down.
Midoriya didn't want to be apart of this whole mess so he got out his phone to check if he had received any new messages.
Nope. Nothing. His dms were as dry as the Saraha dessert.
Midoriya decided that he should message Todoroki-kun and stop ignoring him even tho it's been only a few hours since he started.
