After really LOVING drawing the artwork of Tikki and Plagg, I really wanted to draw another. So after drawing Tikki and Plagg, when I had time, I decided to draw the main character of the show; Ladybug/Marinette! Here is the rough drawing I did of Ladybug with incomplete and messy colouring and outlining:

This was my first drawing of the main character; Ladybug/Marinette and it is quite rough but I am pretty impressed with it myself. It would've taken me around an hour to draw. I was ten and a half at the time and it was in very late 2015. After watching a video of a time-lapse drawing of Ladybug on DianaDiaz's channel, I was really inspired to draw the main character of Miraculous Ladybug at least once, so I did. And I was really happy with how the drawing of Tikki and Plagg turned out so I wanted to create another Miraculous Ladybug themed artwork which turned out to be this one. I was never taught to draw anime style or anything similar to this but I did watch loads of videos on YouTube and took inspiration from many other artists. But while I was drawing this, I did use a reference of a picture of Ladybug to help me. As you can see, I hadn't grasped the art of shading or proportions just yet, colouring was still in progress and my rushing needed to be kept under control, but other than that, it's pretty good. Giving myself criticism: the forehead/head/hair is too big, messy colouring, messy highlighting, messy shading, incorrect proportions and incorrect placement. If I could, I would shrink the head size a bit smaller, spend more time on making everything neat and shading and making neat colouring. That's sums this one up!
