After watching an anime drawing video that really caught my eye, I really got into practicing drawing anime eyes as they really interested me and I started practicing more shading and proportions and drawing anime features. After watching this certain drawing anime girl video, I tried to copy this drawing. My first attempt wasn't that good, but after half a year, I did try again and I perfected it with my own style. Here is my first attempt which was in my second art book:

As I have said, I started getting into the anime drawing phase and started practicing more often. This drawing I did when I was around the age of eleven and it was in mid 2016. It wouldn't have taken me too long, ten to twenty minutes I'm guessing? This drawing was from the start of my anime drawing phase and you will see a lot more in that style further on. But after being really disappointed with my first drawing, I was really determined to perfect it, no matter how long it took. So after half a year, I redrew it. I was never taught to draw anime other than watching videos on YouTube. As you can see, there is no colour, minimum shading, uneven proportions, wrong use of anatomy. I would improve on the proportions and include that parts that I'd missed in the anatomy before shading. And here is my redraw, the actual date is in the bottom right hand corner as you can see:

So obviously, you can tell the drastic difference between the two. After nearly half a year of practicing, you can tell that I had improved in drawing. In my opinion, it is a very good drawing for the age that I was at; 11 and a half. It did take me quite a while but I eventually got pretty into it and drew quite quickly. Overall, my proportions are a bit wrong and I did go as bit over board with the outlining of the hair. But overall, a pretty good redraw of the original! :)

Hello! Thanks for the 61 views! Sorry for not uploading for a day, I was/am really sick and had no energy to type anything out. Sorry about that. I am heading back to school soon for the New Year (school is different in Australia) and I arrive back home at 4:45pm; 45 minutes after the time I usually update on this. Plus I have homework.
