Drawing #54

Hello!

Even though I really liked drawing at the time, I felt that my drawings didn't seem natural enough or easy to draw.
When I would draw, it was taking me way too long to draw just one figure and I knew I needed to improve. Since I don't take real art classes, my only source was scouring YouTube till I could find a tutorial that suited me.
It took a while, but I found one. I won't specify who, but they mentioned that if the viewer thought that their drawings were stiff and natural, this video would really help. And it did!
Letting your pencil do the work, make your hand movements less unnatural and very flow-y. It's hard to explain but it helped. Instead of using sharp shapes to plan out my characters, I used curved shapes to give my drawings a shot.
As you can see below, my drawing is a lot more curvy than previous drawings I've done of random figures. Marinette seems a lot more natural looking:

This one wasn't as good, but I still followed the curvy-shape pattern:

Then I decided to use a pen. This one was the worst of the three, but I still used the same method:

I was thirteen and a half by now. In my Summer holidays after my first year in high school.
I drew all three of these in under five minutes (each).
They're not so much detail because they're supposed to be simple drawings to practice my figure-drawing. The proportions are alright.
Overall, I really enjoyed drawing these though and I really am thankful for finding that video that helped me improve.
