Hello!

More work with tone using charcoal! This time, our lesson consisted of using charcoal to actually create an artwork, applying our knowledge and understanding to actually producing a piece. This was a hell of a fun activity. And guess what I drew?
     Raindrops!

I was approximately fourteen and a half still.
I completed these in a period, so... forty minutes or so? Maybe less.
I didn't expect these to turn out decent, but I actually like the way they turned out. Of course, I did use a reference to complete this. It was so fun to experiment with charcoal and see how realistic I could make something simple look. I think it turned out okay. To me, the raindrop on the left looks more realistic than the other, but they're both half-decent.
Overall, a fun activity, which turned out to be a success.
