Hello!

Oh, so this drawing was and is very important to me, as well as my parents. But anyway, here's some context:
Christmas 2019 is coming up, and I'm obviously going to do something nice for my parents. And I've always considered drawing something for them for this occasion, but never thought my artistic skills were high enough. And not that I do think they are now, but I figured I should give it a go.
I found a really nice photo of my parents from a while back, and drew them, shown below:

So, there you are! My parents (not accurate).
I drew this when I was fourteen and a half, between the dates shown in the image above.
This took... a very... long... while. I, of course, enjoyed drawing them, but it was hard work, and my hands died. I wanted to draw it really well and not give them something with even 99.99% of my effort, but 100%. I'm not entirely sure how long in hours it took me to complete, but I worked on it for at least four-six hours each day (using a lot of that time to just stress about putting my pencil to the paper).
I put a lot of effort into the drawing. And I love the way it turned out, even though it's not perfect (nothing is meant to be, but that's what they all say). I tried my best, and that's what matters! Anyway, the proportions are decent (I think), the detail is... bomb... and everything is nice... I think.
Anyway, I wrapped it up as a gift to my parents and they loved it! But next time I draw my parents, I'll be sure to put in 200% of my time and effort to make it even better! 'Cause they deserve that for dealing with me, LOL.

Sorry for how much I wrote, but I hope you enjoyed it anyway.
I head back to school on Monday, so... yay. I may not upload for a bit, I'm sorry.
But thanks, y'all! Have a nice day!
