Hello!

This next drawing is one of the best ones I've ever drawn in my life. It was nearly my thirteenth birthday by now, and I wanted to reach my teen years with some sort of achievement other than surviving. I felt that expressing that sense of achievement was definitely supposed to be through the artistic skills that I had to date. So with the only skills I had learnt for thirteen years, I produced this:

We can round my age to thirteen this time. Finally.
This was done over the span of two days. I started at lunch time on the first day and drew for about six hours in total, stopping late at night, begrudgingly, after my mum said I HAD to go to sleep. The next day, I got up early to continue, finishing early afternoon. In total, this probably took me twelve hours! Including the many minutes that I just sat there, head in my hands, as I cried and complained about how I can't draw and how this was going to turn out like trash. I think... I was officially a teenager as I had twenty mental breakdowns while drawing this. I would draw a 1/100th of the drawing before puffing out my lungs and running around the house screaming.
I spent so much on every single detail and it stressed me out so much. Even when I was colouring Marinette's cardigan, I tried to angle my pencil at the perfect angle to get the perfect strokes that would make the cardigan look like it was sewn together and not just carelessly coloured in. I searched up more than ten different versions of the flower pattern on Marinette's shirt so I had evidence I didn't draw it wrong. I focussed really hard on the eyes which, to me, are the most important part of a portrait of ANYONE. I also was very careful of my pigmenting on the cheeks as I needed to get the perfect shades of skin tone for Marinette and the correct shadows. Of course... I couldn't get her iconic blue pigtails wrong and spent a good deal of time focussing on that. So basically, I stressed about every single part of this portrait.
I believe I can say that this is detailed. The colouring is quite decent and the proportions almost perfect (except for the fact that I may have made Marinette's forehead a little bit too big... if that's even possible). The shading is quite awesome and I believe I stayed inside the lines at all times. I am super happy with how this turned out. This was my first impressive piece of art because as a whole, I put a lot of effort into it.
     Overall: BOOYAH!!!

Hey guys, sorry for not uploading. My bad, I said I would update more frequently.
Shout out to TheSilentWolf60 for being a frequent reader! Love you, bro!
More updates (hopefully) coming soon!
I've had time to draw a lot more art recently (December, 2019) so I can guarantee new chapters. But remember, this artwork was done more than a year and a half ago when I published this. So I have loads of chapters to upload as my life gets busier.
Any announcements... uh... I'm trying to stay productive these Summer holidays (I live in Australia) so that's why I haven't been uploading. I've been studying and catching up on writing in my diary. Tutoring work. Drawing. Yeah. Sorry, guys.
I really hope you liked the chapter!
See you in the next one!
