Jason Grace x Reader (Siblings in Love)

My name is y/n l/n and there's not really much to tell. I love with my mum and I have no siblings and my dad left before I was born because of special circumstances and mum never told me why. All she said was that it was to protect me. But it's ok because my best friends Jason Grace, who I have known for so long, has the same situation as me. He lives with his mum and his dad left before he was born because of special circumstances, which his mum never says why but only that he left to protect him. I'm 16 years old and Jason is 17 years old, only a one year difference, but we are still best friends. I remember the day that we met and became best friends. I was 8 years old.

Flashback

Mum and I were at the park because she said that she had to meet her friend Mrs Grace (forgot to mention that she has known Jason's mum for such a long time, so it's because of her that we met and I'm so grateful for it) for a business meeting since they both work at the same place. When Mrs Grace came along, she brought her son with her and they took us to the play equipment and left us to play while they sat on the bench watching us while discussing whatever they had to discuss for work. I looked around and noticed the boy on the swings looking lonely, so I decided to go over to him and keep him company. I sat on the opposite side and said,

"Hi, my name is y/n l/n. What's your name?"

"My name is Jason Grace. What are you doing?" He said in a curious voice.

"You looked lonely and I though you could use some company. Wanna be best friends?" He thought about it for a while and then had a big smile on his face.

"Ok, let's be best friends." We played on the swings and talked for a long time until it was time to go. I was actually sad that I had to leave my new best friend and when mum noticed that I was sad she said,

"Honey, what's wrong?"

"I don't want to leave my new best friend Jason." Mum looked like that she had a plan, which she did.

"You know, they can come over when they want. I've known his mum for years and they are always welcome at home. I'll call his mum and we can arrange days for you guys to hang out. How does that sound?" I nodded my head yes and hugged mum. I was so happy. Jason had basically come over everyday and we would always hang out. We became the best of friends and we will be forever.

End of flashback

When we really got to know each other, we told each other about our dads and were shocked that the same thing had happened to us. Along the way, the most cliched thing happened. I had fallen for my blonde haired friend and I had no way of getting back up. But I will never tell him because I value our friendship too much to lose him all because of my crush on him. Jason and I went to the shops to pick up a few things for mum. Everything was fine on the way there. Jason and I were talking and playing around with each other, but on the way back however was a different story. Everything was quiet and peaceful until this monster like thing had appeared in front of us and if looks could kill, Jason and I would already be dead. We did the only thing we could think of, we ran. We ran as fast as we could to get back to my house. When we entered the house, we saw my mum sitting in the kitchen drinking a cup of coffee. When she saw us and the fearful looks on our faces, she ran over to us and said,

"Y/n, Jason are you to ok? What's wrong?" Before we could say anything in reply, there was a knock on the door and a stranger had rushed in and he was panting like he ran all the way here from who knows where. Jason and I were shocked because where his feet should be, he didn't have any. Instead of feet, there hooves, like he is part goat.
