After getting a call from Caroline to meet at her house, Mallory entered the Forbes residence to find Tyler sitting in the living room. Once seeing the girl, Tyler immediately stood up, "What the hell are you doing here?" She asked Tyler, angrily glaring at the male hybrid.

"I came to apologize," He responded.

"Apologize?" Mallory exclaimed loudly an angry look on her face, "You bit me! I could've died. I think we're way past apologies by now, Tyler."

"That's the problem, Mal!" Tyler argued, "Klaus told me to do it and I said no. And then...just happened anyway. Like, it was completely out of my control."

Just then, Caroline entered the room, causing Mallory to turn to her with a betrayed look, "That's why Tyler and I had my mom call him," She informed her friend, just as Bill Forbes walked into the room.

"Hello, Mallory," Bill greeted Mallory, who frowned in confusion.

Mallory continued to frown, glancing between Tyler and Caroline, "What the hell is he doing here?" She asked, venom laced in her tone.

To say the least, Mallory hated Bill after what he did to Caroline. She might not have showed the Mystic Gang a lot, but she cared for each and every one of them deeply, especially Caroline. She wanted nothing more than to rip Bill's throat out at that moment, but she knew she couldn't. For Caroline's sake, of course.

"Caroline and I thought, since he can resist compulsion, maybe he could teach me to resist the sire bound." Tyler explained and Mallory turned to Caroline, who nodded her head in confirmation.

Mallory sighed deeply, just before turning to face Bill, an uneasy look on her face, "Can you help him?" She questioned Bill curiously.

"I'm gonna try." Bill responded in calm tone, nodding his head slightly.

"But why though?" Mallory asked him, "You hate vampires."

"Because he made a mistake and now he wants to make good," Bill informed her, but his eyes were fixed on his daughter, "And I understand that."

In the Lockwood Cellar, Bill was chaining Tyler up while Caroline and Mallory stood beside them, "How do you know, this is gonna work?" Caroline asked her father concerned, watching him chain up Tyler.

"It's a process. It took decades, to train myself to resist compulsion. Brain's like a muscle. The more you use it, the more it can do," Bill explained to the girls and Mallory shifted uncomfortably as he noticed how worried and nervous Tyler looked, "A sire bond, at its core, is about one thing... gratitude. If you believe you owe Klaus your life, ask yourself why."

"I was cursed. Every full moon I had to change into a wolf. It was torture. Klaus took that away." Tyler responded in a calm tone with all honesty.

"He freed you from your pain and now you feel indebted to him. To break the sire bound you gotta make yourself turn. Own your pain then you'll owe Klaus nothing and you will be free." Bill explained, glancing over at Caroline.

"But how can he turn?" Caroline asked Bill confused, "It's not a full moon."

"He doesn't need one," Mallory suddenly spoke up, causing the whole group to turn to him, "Your father's right, Care. Tyler's a hybrid, which means he can turn at will now."

"Yeah, but I don't know how to just start," Tyler replied, but it was clearly said just to stall.

"You're making excuses." Bill complained.
