At the Salvatore Boarding House, Elena was still locked in the cellar, seeing as though she refused to turn her humanity back on. Stefan and Damon had tried everything within their power to try to convince her to do so but nothing seemed to work.

"She's the calmest desiccating vampire I've ever seen," Damon complained as he poured himself a glass of bourbon while standing in the library, "I remember when you starved me down there for three days. I would've wept at your feet for an orange peel."

"Look, she's not gonna beg for blood. Begging means desperation, emotion. She's still in no-humanity zone," Stefan reminded him as he let out a large defeated sigh.

"How hungry does she have to be before we can torture some feelings back into her?" Damon asked, a puzzled look on his face.

"A lot hungrier than she is now, apparently," Stefan replied sarcastically with the slightest of smiles on his face.

"So what are we supposed to do in the meantime?" Damon commented, he and Stefan not even noticing that Katherine had entered the room.

"Maybe I can provide a little excitement," She announced, smirking as both brothers turned to face her.

"Katherine," Stefan stated, a part of him looking confused to see the female vampire.

"The one and only..." Katherine trailed off and rolled her eyes, "sort of. So, when's the Welcome Home party?"

Katherine smirked, walking over to the table Damon was standing in. She wasted no time pouring herself a drink.

"Wow, look who went and got bold," Damon commented in a taunting tone, "Last time I checked, Klaus was plotting your eternal demise."

"Well, it doesn't matter anymore, because Klaus is gone," She informed them, causing Stefan to frown in confusion, "All thanks to little old Mallory, and from what I've heard, she's gone with him."

"Wait, what do you mean Mallory and Klaus are gone?" Stefan asked as he turned to face Katherine when she walked past him and Damon.

"Let's just say that werewolf girl, Hayley, turned out to be just the thing we needed to get Klaus out of our lives for good. And maybe we'll even be lucky enough to have Mallory stay with him."

Hearing Katherine's words, Damon and Stefan turned to each other, shocked about the revelation about Mallory even more. She had left with Klaus and they hadn't even noticed. How was that?

It was daytime in New Orleans and Klaus Mikaelson and Mallory made their way through the large crowds of people, in search of someone who could give him the answers Klaus needed to find the witch  by the name of Jane-Anne Deveraux.

It wasn't long before Mallory's eyes locked on an older female, who sat at a table by herself. She turned to Klaus, nudging before gesturing in the woman's direction.

Klaus nodded, exchanging a brief glance with Mallory before they walked in the woman's direction. They weren't fools. They could already tell that she wasn't just some imposter psychic, she was an actual witch, unlike the rest of the people on that block giving out fortunes.

It wasn't long before the woman whose name was Agnes noticed Klaus and Mallory's eyes on her. She quickly began to pack up before they came over, knowing it would be in her best interest to stay as far away from the infamous duo as humanly possible. Everyone knew of Klaus Mikaelson and Mallory Montague and the reputation that preceded them both. The fact that they were standing side by side meant nothing good, especially for the people of New Orleans.
