Woohoo! One more week!
My hubby will be home in seven days and I can't wait to see him!
(Ring ring)
"Hey baby!"
"Hi love. How you feeling?"
"Excited! I get to see you soon!"
"I know can't wait. We've got a show in Sacramento tonight. Not really looking forward to it. Hopefully I don't run into anybody. Tomorrow night San Francisco."
"How's things been going with Julia?"
"Honestly a lot better. She's actually bearable. I think she's got a crush on Shawn."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah she's always making up a reason to talk to him. And we're sitting around she's always hanging on him."
"Well good. Shawn needs some booty."
We both laugh.
"I do too!
No going into labor until I'm home for a couple days."
"Yeah cause there ain't no booty for about two months after that!"
"You've got an appointment today right?"
"Yeah I'm actually on the way there now with momma."
I put Dominic on speaker.
"Hey sweetie!"
"Hey momma Jill."
My mom smiles.
"This wife of yours has actually been smiling this week cause you'll be home soon. She's been a big mopey mess."
I hear Dominic laughing.
"Well if it makes you feel better I have been too."
"Aw I love you too. Hey we just pulled up to the doctor."
"Ok baby I'll call you later. Love you."
My mom and I go inside and I look around and a couple of the woman I told off a few months ago are in here. I'm laughing so hard in my head.
I get called to the back and we go to a room.
"Ok let's check everything."
I lay on the table and they doctor does the ultrasound.
"Um October?"
I don't like the way she said that.
"Is something wrong?"
"Oh no everything is fine. It's just your due date isn't correct."
"Um I'm not about to pop am I?"
"Oh no just the opposite. It looks like you're only 32 weeks pregnant."
"Are you serious?! I've got to be uncomfortable for three more weeks!"
"Yes I'm sorry October. But on the bright side Dominic will be home for the birth."
"Yeah that is very true."
Later that night I was laying in bed trying to get comfortable. But so far I'm unsuccessful.
Then I hear my phone ring. Yay! Video call time with the hubby.
"Hey baby guess what?"
"What?"
"I'm still three weeks away from my delivery date."
