His expression was so full of surprise, I busted out laughing, then jumped in behind him, the coldness of the water taking my breath. He came up sputtering water, his eyes wide. Seeing me, he ducked back under and disappeared. Oh sh*t. Maybe I should've thought this through. I felt him grab my legs and I tried to kick away but he snatched me under with him, then brought me back up. Now I was the one sputtering water. "Damn it." I said, wiping the water from my face. Colby laughed, his blue eyes sparkling, and wiped his hair back from his face, so that it lay flat against his head. "CannonBaaaall!" We looked up to see Corey jumping past us, into the water, then shielded our faces against the big splash. Everyone else jumped in after. "Oh my God," Kat exclaimed, after she came back up. "This water is freezing." "It really is." I agreed. It was as cold as an actual ice bath, and my body didn't seem to be getting used to it. "At least you'll know if someone pees next to you." Jake said, laughing. "Oh gross, Jake. That's nasty." Tara exclaimed, splashing him with water. The water went past him and hit Corey. "Oh it's on now!" Corey yelled. A splash fight ensued, everyone splashing everyone. I hit the water so hard at Sam, that it engulfed his entire face, while he had his mouth open. He coughed, spitting out water. "Damn Y/N, what did I ever do to you?" He asked, grinning, his blonde hair dark and plastered to his head. I laughed and batted my eyes at him. "Not a thing Mr. Golbach. It just looked like you needed to cool down." I replied coyly. I felt an arm go around my waist, and then Colby's breath in my ear. "Watch out or I might think you're flirting with my best friend." He whispered. I giggled nervously. This was actually killing me. I turned in his arms so that I was facing him. "Jealous, Brock?" I asked, smirking at him. I could be a good actress when I wanted to be. He gave me a half smile and leaned down, almost touching my lips with his. "Very," he replied, then splashed me as hard as he could. I threw up my hands to block it but got the majority of it in the face. "Asshole." I said, when I finished sputtering water. He laughed, then swam a little distance away. I followed him and noticed a cave style entrance at the other end of the lake. "Let's check that out!" I said excitedly, my voice getting higher. "Oh, so you wanna explore huh? Going old school?" Colby asked, laughing. I nodded. "Yeah, I never got to do any of those videos with you guys. I used to love doing things like this before I....well before." I didn't want to bring up Nick. "Hey Sam, Guys!" Colby yelled. "Come check this out!" I looked back and saw the others swimming our way. Sam got there first, with the others close behind. "What's up brother?" Sam asked. "Y/N found a cave." He said pointing. "Let's check it out." "Wait, what if there are animals or something bad in there?" Kat said, staying back a little. "Yeah, I agree. I'm not sure this is a good idea." Devyn replied. "Okay, we'll check it out first then and come back to tell you. Deal?" Sam asked. "Yeah, I'll stay with the girls." Corey said. "They'll need someone to protect them." He flexed his muscles. Colby laughed. "Sure Corey, from what? The fishies?" He said in a condescending tone. "Well yeah!" Corey replied. "There are some pretty big fish sometimes." He pulled Devyn close to him. "Don't worry baby, I got you." She giggled and kissed him on the lips quickly. "I know you do baby. You'll beat up those fish." "You damn right." Corey said. We laughed. "Well, I'm going." I spoke up. "I wanna see what's in there." "You sure?" Colby asked. "They aren't wrong. There could be something dangerous in there." I shrugged. "I know how to run just as well as you do." Colby looked at me intensely for a moment, then nodded. "Okay, but just stay behind us, Okay?" I nodded. I would try. We swam towards the cave and climbed up on the ledge. Sam and Colby went in first, with Jake behind Sam, and Colby pulling me in behind him. The cave was dark and cold, and, for lack of a better term, it was moist. You could feel the water in the air, and the walls were dripping with it. We heard a low roar coming from somewhere in the back. It sounded like water. "We don't have any flashlights or anything." Sam whispered. "Why are you whispering?" Jake asked, normally. "Shhh! Because we don't know what could be in there!" Sam replied. Colby took the lead, feeling his way along the walls. It wasn't pitch black but it was pretty dark. We made our way towards the sound. It got louder and louder, the closer we got. "I see a light or something. It's a little brighter up there." Colby said, pointing in front of us. There was a dull glow coming from further down in the cave. "Let's check it out." Sam replied. It didn't take us too long to get to the light. It happened to be another entrance into a well lit area. It was well lit, because there was an opening in the ceiling of the area, with the sunlight streaming in. "Oh...MY...GOD." I exclaimed, wonder and shock over taking me. I was in awe. "This is beautiful." Colby said, quietly, staring at our surroundings. Sam and Jake didn't say anything, but stood there with their mouths slightly ajar. There was a massive waterfall located inside the cave, the water going down into a tunnel that had to be leading to the lake. "This is amazing." Sam finally spoke, going closer and sticking his hand under the falls. He snatched it back quickly, shaking it. "Just as cold as the lake water, if not worse. Shit!"
