"They really do." I replied, thinking of Colby's eyes staring into my soul this morning. "Hey, snap out of it!" Tara said, waving her hand in front of our faces. Kat and I looked at each other and laughed. "Sorry!" We said simultaneously. She rolled her eyes and smiled. "Come on, give us a twirl!" Serena cried, holding my arm up. I did as she asked, closing my eyes in embarrassment. The skirt of the dress lifted up, flowing effortlessly in the air, before twirling back down around my ankles.  "Come on, let's see it in the big mirror." I walked over to the mirror in front of the cushy white couches and stepped up onto the platform. There were three different mirrors connected, so that you could see yourself from all angles. Usually, I hate these types of mirrors, but this time...this time, I was in awe. I did look beautiful. The dress flowed over my body perfectly, accentuating my curves, and melding well with my skin tone. I breathed out a sigh of relief, knowing that this was actually the dress. "Hey ladies!" Brennen's voice rang out through the store, startling me so that I almost fell off the platform. "Oh what the fuck, Colby, what are you doing here?" Kat exclaimed, while Serena dragged me down from the platform so that all of the girls could stand in front of me. What the hell was Colby doing here? I know that I said that we weren't traditional, but there were some things that you just didn't mess with. He couldn't see me in my dress before the wedding! "I came to drop off y/n's phone. She left it at home." I held my hand up and back so that he could pass me my phone. "What are you doing back there?" I heard the laughter in his voice. "Stop looking at me! I'm hiding from you. You can't see me in this." "Wait...are you wearing your dress? Like the actual dress? You found it?" "Yes, she found it Colby and it's beautiful, amazing, and she's fucking hot, but you aren't going to see it right now." Serena spoke up, like the queen she is. He groaned. "Babyyyy...I just need a quick sneak peek." I turned around, making sure that the girls were still blocking the dress from view, so that I could see him. "No, not gonna happen Brock. You need to go. BOTH of you." I shot a glare to Brennen, who was standing back smirking. "What did I do?" He asked innocently. "Nothing yet, but you'll sneak a pic or something, just to show him. LEAVE." He shrugged, and smiled at Colby. "She's not wrong." Colby laughed and held his hands up. "Okay, okay, I get it. We'll leave...I guess I'll just wait another couple of months to see it." He winked at me, before turning to leave. "Can't wait." He replied before walking out the shop door. I shook my head and smiled to myself. Fucking Colby. "How the hell did they know where we were?" I asked. Serena looked at me, biting her lip. "I told Brennen." She replied sheepishly. "What?! Why would you do that?" Tara smacked her on the arm. "Ouch! I didn't know that they were going to actually show up. He just asked where we were so I told him. Geez." She rubbed her arm. "Sorry." I laughed. "It's fine. I think they just did that to mess with me anyways. Colby knows that I don't want him to see the dress." S smiled at me. "Oh hey, I forgot to tell you! I managed to push everything around and talk to everyone, and I got the wedding pushed up another month. The date is now September 16th. It was easier than I thought it would be, but since you're having it on the beach I didn't have to worry about changing the venue. Just the day that it would be blocked off to the public." "Yay!" I clapped my hands. "Wait, so you're pushing the wedding up?" Devyn asked. I nodded. "Yeah...I want to get married before I turn into a beach ball." She rolled her eyes. "Oh whatever, you're going to be beautiful regardless...but I do understand why you want to be able to fit in that dress." She looked me up and down. "You are H-O-T in that thing." I blushed again, and looked down. "So, I was thinking of not wearing shoes...since we're going to be on the beach..what do you guys think?" "Oo, oo, I have the best idea!" Devyn exclaimed, her face lighting up. "You know those ankle bracelet things that trial down your foot and wrap around your toe. Wear some of those! Some pretty ones with diamonds and maybe a flower design to match your dress. Your nails will be painted the exact color of your dress, of course." I loved her so much. I don't know what I would do without these girls helping me. Probably just pull up at the courthouse. I nodded excitedly. "That sounds amazing actually. Where do I find those at?" She laughed at my inexperience. "Come on. We'll take care of it." I paid for the dress and we left. The rest of the day was a blur, going from shop to shop, finding a tennis bracelet, with alternating blue sapphires and diamonds, in sterling silver, the barefoot sandals with simple, small, classic pearls lining them, earrings to match the bracelet, and just about anything else that the girls could talk me into getting. "No, that's enough! I'm going broke!" I exclaimed, when they tried to talk me into Gucci handbag. What did I need that for on my wedding? "You know Colby is going to pay off your credit card, right? There's no way that he's going to let you pay for all this. Live a little!" S nudged me with her shoulder. "I've been living a little all day. This is too much. I'm done. I don't want him spending his money on me, especially for frivolous things that I don't need." She huffed out a breath. "You're no fun." I rolled my eyes and smiled.
