"Colby..." He smiled at me, encouraging me to continue and my heart beat faster. "From the first time that I saw you, I knew that you would be in my life. I wasn't sure how. I didn't know that you would become the love of my life. I didn't know that you would have such an impact in my life and change it so completely. The love you've shown me is greater than anything that my childhood self could dream up. It's heartwarming, genuine, and fierce....sometimes all at once, so strongly that I can't breathe." His eyes were starting to shimmer with the glaze of tears, and I could fell my own burning. I just had to get through this before I let them fall. "At the same time, your love has taught me to find what I have been so long searching for within my own self. I never saw my life like this. You saved me, completely. Now you've given me the life that I never even dreamed of and I can't imagine my life without you. I will forever be yours. Always." One tear spilled over his cheek, as we stood there staring at each other, holding hands. He smiled and dropped one of my hands to wipe his cheek with the back of his own. My own eyes were blurry and I knew as soon as I blinked the tears would fall, and I was so thankful that Dev had used waterproof makeup. The minister smiled, and motioned towards Colby that it was his turn. "Y/n, a little over 2 years ago, you captured my heart by being exactly who you are. The sweetest, most compassionate, most loving, and sensitive person that I have ever known. If someone had told me that I would open Sam's door and find the love of my life standing there...well, I would have laughed because I didn't think that it was in the cards for me. I had gotten used to not getting close to anyone, and I had stopped looking for love. You have been the reason that I smile and you have given me comfort beyond measure when I have cried. You believed in me when no one else would, and you have shown me how to love with passion, purity, and unconditional acceptance. I'm not sure that a lifetime is long enough to return all that you have given to me, but I promise that that I'll spend the rest of my days at your side. To laugh with you and cry with you, to believe in you, and support you. I promise to do everything to make our love rich and to never let it grow poor. I believe that we are better together than we have ever been apart and that we saved each other. I was lost when I found you. Today, in front of all of our family, and friends, I pledge to you my love, my trust, and my fidelity forever. You are and will be the best part of my life, Always. I love you." Yep, I'm not sure when the tears spilled over, probably right when he said my name, but I was straight out sobbing. There was no gentle pretty cry for this bride. I was full on ugly crying, gasping for breath. When the hell did he get THAT good with words? The minister spoke, drawing everyone's eyes to him, except mine and Colby's. Our eyes were locked onto one another, a fierce enchantment taking over us. "Can we have the rings please?" Serena passed me Colby's and I almost dropped it when I saw it. It was my dad's wedding ring...he must have gotten the set from my mom when we went to visit. He never failed to surprise me in the most amazing ways. When I turned to look back at him, Sam was smiling at me, and Colby held out his hand showing me my mother's wedding ring. More tears. They were never going to stop, were they? I was just going to cry during the entire thing. "Look at the inscription." Serena whispered behind me. I brought the ring closer to my face, to read the inside of it. "Always," It read in a beautiful script against the white gold. When I looked back up to meet his gaze, I know that my own had a look of pure awe etched onto it. He just smiled, and looked at me with pure love. He slipped the wedding ring onto my left hand ring finger, joining the beautiful engagement ring that he had gotten me. "Do you, Cole Robert Brock, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?" That big, beautiful grin broke out on his face, his cheeks lifting, and his blue eyes smoldering. "Hell yea, I do." Laughter broke out among the guests at his eagerness. He held his own hand up so that I could slide my father's ring onto his ring finger. It felt right. Like we were completing a circle. I felt like my dad was with us somehow and that he was proud. "Do you y/f/n take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?" I nodded and replied, "Always." "Then I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss your bride." Colby was already moving before the minister was even through speaking, pulling me to him and pressing his lips against mine, moving them in a way that set my very soul on fire. His hands pressed against the small of my back and I moved my own up to circle around his neck, delving into his perfect hair. I forgot that we had an audience of people. I forgot that we were at our wedding. I even forgot that there was a man of God standing right beside us. All that mattered was Colby, his arms around me, and his lips moving against mine. His tongue traced against my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I opened to him, pushing myself up against him, and pulling his hair slightly. Then...someone cleared their throat. Didn't matter. I just kept kissing Colby like my life depended on it. "Guys, come on now. Colby!" Sam's urgent whisper made Colby tilt his head, dragging his lips from mine. I came back down to Earth, hearing the laughter, and the cheers behind us.
