She set the Gucci bag back down, with a frown. Then smiled and picked it back up. "I have Brennen's card on me. I'm getting it for myself!" We all laughed as she walked to the counter to check out. Kat and I told the girls bye, (S was going back to Brennen's place) and left to go meet our guys back at the apartments. "Colby and I have to leave again soon. I have to introduce him to my mother...and let him see the crappy house that I grew up in." I groaned, confiding in Kat. We exited the elevator, and she wrapped her arm around my waist. "You know he doesn't care about all of that. He just cares about you." I sighed heavily. "I know...doesn't make it any less embarrassing though. I hate feeling that way, but it's true." Kat just shook her had at me. "You can't help how you feel about it but from what you've told me, your mom did the best she could after your dad died. Colby isn't even going to notice the house." She moved her arm from around me as we neared the apartment doors, and nudged my shoulder with hers. "Sam told me that he's super nervous to meet her. Said he asked him 'what if she doesn't like me bro?'" I felt the look of shock cross my face, my eyes snapping up to hers. "What? Why would he even think that? Everyone who has ever met Colby has loved him." She shrugged as we stood in front of the doors. "He's just as nervous as you are.He knows how much you love your mom and he wants to make a good impression just like you did for his mom." She put her hand on my shoulder. "Try not to worry so much. It'll be fine. Just think, you get to tell her that she's going to be a grandma!" I cringed at those words. My mom was amazing, and very understanding but that was still very nerve wracking, especially since I had been dating Colby for so long and she had never even met him. They had only spoken on the phone a few times, and mainly just about my birthday gifts, or something like that. I wasn't worried about her not liking Colby. She was going to love him. He was everything that Nick wasn't, and he treated me like a queen. Maybe Kat was right. I needed to stop stressing so much over every stupid little detail that didn't matter. "When are you guys planning on leaving anyways?" I scrunched my eyebrows in thought. "I guess we should be leaving within the next couple of weeks actually. The wedding is in 2 months now, and I promised Mom that we would spend a couple of weeks with her, before bringing her back here. Guess we should start making those plans." I shifted my bags in my hands and moved the garment bag to hang more steadily over my arm, when it started to slide. "Let me help." She grabbed a couple of bags and I opened the door to mine and Colby's apartment. "What the hell...?" Kat said in a hushed tone. I hadn't seen Mike or Kevin a while, just with everything going on lately, but there they were with Sam and Colby. Sitting in a circle around the coffee table, with a bottle spinning in the middle of them on the table. Were they playing spin the bottle? Kevin glanced up and saw me as the bottle landed on Sam. "Y/N! Sweetie!" He jumped up and ran over to give me and Kat a hug. "You're just in time." He replied grinning. Colby held up his camera, pointing it in our direction. I gave hima small wave and a smile before turning my attention back to Kev. "For what exactly?" "Well, for us to kiss, duh!" Mike exclaimed for the background, making the guys laugh. "That's what we usually do when you guys aren't here." Sam stated, matter of factly. "Sorry Katrina." Her mouth fell open in pretend shock. "Samuel, don't make me hurt you." "Ooooo" Colby laughed out, pointing the camera back at Sam. His lips folded inside his mouth, and he cut his eyes sideways to the camera. "Whoops." Kat laughed, and shook her head. "Dork. I swear, sometimes you guys make me wonder." "Solby." I stated, looking at the back of Colby's head, knowing he would hear me. Sure enough, his head turned in my direction, his eyes meeting mine. "Hey, I wasn't in this!" "Stop it Colby, you know Solby is real." Kevin replied, as I started laughing. "We've all witnessed it." Colby looked back at Sam. "I feel attacked." Sam shrugged, trying to keep from laughing. "They aren't wrong." Both of the guys started laughing at each other. Colby passed the camera to Sam, and got up, walking over to me. He took the bags from my arms, and leaned over, pressing his lips softly to mine. He looked down at the garment bag draped over my arm, and back up to me, smiling. "Can't wait to see you in that." He whispered, just loud enough for me to hear. I blushed, and kissed him quickly. "We need to make the plans to go see my mom soon." He nodded. "I know. Whenever you're ready, I'll get it set up." "You can go ahead and do it, if you want. Just like, make it for sometime within the next couple of weeks." "Okay." "Cooolbbbyyyy! It's your turn!" Sam yelled, the camera pointed at us again. "We're going to finish up this video and then we'll talk about it." I nodded. "Okay, Kat and I will hang out in the room till you guys finish. Bring my bags?" He smiled and I followed him to the room where he dropped my bags on the bed. He kissed me swiftly before turning and walking out, closing the door behind him. Kat and I started going through the bags, putting everything away. "When are you guys picking up the bridesmaids dresses?" The shop didn't have all of their sizes so the little old lady had to order them to be shipped in.
