"Because....you aren't my little girl anymore. Tomorrow, you'll be Colby's wife...and I couldn't be more proud of the woman that you've turned into." "Aww Momma," I sniffled a little, holding back my own tears and hugged her again. "Let me go get changed for bed. I'm sleeping in here with you tonight." She gave me a choked laugh. "Okay, that sounds good." I went to change and came back to her room, crawling into bed with her. I kissed her cheek, and laid my head on her shoulder. "I'll always be your little girl Mom. Nothing will change that." She leaned her head over on mine. "Oh sweetie," She gave a heavy sigh. "It will different. You'll realize soon enough when your little one grows up and finds love. Oh!" I jerked up with her exclamation. "What?!" She had scared me and she laughed at my expression. "I forgot that I was supposed to tell you that Serena said you would find out the gender tomorrow. Before you leave for your honeymoon." I furrowed my brow in confusion. "But the wedding is tomorrow. I can't believe that I haven't thought about it...she kept me too busy with wedding details. I think she did it on purpose so that I wouldn't keep aggravating her about it." I laid back down, pulling the cover up to my neck, yawning. "Get some rest sweetie. You have a very big day tomorrow." I smiled, thinking of what was to come. "Yes ma'am. I love you Momma." "I love you too sweetie." I drifted off to sleep, dreaming of beach waves, blue flowers, and a very handsome man with blue eyes. My eyes popped open with the sound of my alarm in my ears. My mom wasn't in the bed so I guess she is already up and preparing for the day. I reached over and grabbed my phone, sliding it off and checking my texts. I smiled when I saw Colby's name. "Good morning beautiful. I missed you last night. I can't wait to call you  my wife. I'm leaving early to go pick up the twins from the airport. I'll meet you at the alter. Always." Oh my God, he could make my heart flutter through a text. I hope it never changed. I felt a bump in my stomach and I put my hand over it. "I know little one. Your daddy is something special." I felt another bump against my hand. I assumed he or she agreed with me. "YN! Get your lazy ass up...oh, sorry Momma," Serena was here. I grinned and threw the cover back, just as she came barreling into the room. "Come on! There is so much to do today!" The day was a whirlwind. I got to see the twins just for a moment, and watch Kristie and Serena squeal and hug, jumping around like kids, before we were off to finish getting ready. I had to get my nails and toes done, so that gave me a peaceful little break. The color matched my dress with a pearlescent glow. When we arrived at the beach, it blew my mind. There were tents set up for us to get ready in, and for the reception. I could see the fairy light strings everywhere but they weren't lit yet, since it was day time. There were a few flowers set up but not all. They were still working on getting everything ready. I hoped that they finished in time. I never knew it could take literal hours to get ready. My hair had to be perfectly done, my dress pressed to make sure there wasn't one little wrinkle, and the makeup...oh God, the makeup. I didn't realize how much went into it. "Is all of this really necessary?" I asked Devyn as she worked on my face, standing back to admire her work, with her tongue stuck between her teeth. "Yes. Now stop fidgeting or we'll have to start all over." She stood there looking fucking gorgeous, everything about her perfect, her hair and makeup perfectly done, her dress hugging to her curves. "I don't think anyone will be looking at me, with you and the other girls in the room. You look amazing Dev." She smiled as she continued to work her magic on my face. "Oh trust me. No one will be looking at us. Okay, done." She stepped back again to check her work. "Can I see?" She shook her head. "Nope. You can see the finished product. I have to finish your hair." I groaned. "Can't I just curl it and wear it down." She rolled her eyes. "For God's sake y/n, just sit there and deal. Go to your happy place." "Fiiine." I groaned out and closed my eyes as she started brushing my hair and sticking pins in it. My happy place was with Colby and our child, walking the beach. I seen a little girl in my head...I don't know why. I just did. A little girl that looked like me, but had Colby's eyes and hair. In my happy place, I watched as she ran down the shore, towards Colby, and he swung her up, that big beautiful grin on his face, and put her on his shoulders, her giggling away. I don't know how long it took to finish my hair. I know that I heard others entering and exiting the room, speaking nonsense words that I didn't register. I was in my happy place. "We're done." That registered. I opened my eyes to see Kat and Devyn in front of me. "When did you get here?" I asked Kat. She giggled. "Just a few minutes ago." "You can look now." She motioned for me to get up and follow her to the full length mirror. I stood up and walked to the mirror, gasping when I looked at the girl in the mirror. Who was she? Her hair was shiny and full, pulled together at the back of her head in a curled updo, with wavy tendrils falling down around her face. The dress was fitted, accentuating all of her curves perfectly, falling down to her feet, where the pearls shone on the barefoot sandals.
