He collapsed on top of me, trying to keep some of his weight off of me with his elbows. Leaning over me, he pressed his lips to mine softly. His hair was curling against his forehead from the sweat lingering on his skin. I reached my hand up and pushed it back, looking into his eyes. I love the way he looks at me. His eyes are soft, the deep blue that I love staring back at me. I can literally feel how much he loves me just from looking into them right now. Our breathing was starting to slow down now, as we both stayed still just looking at each other. "What was that? It felt like so much...more." I finally managed to breath out. I didn't really know how to explain what had just happened, just that it had never been so intense before. He shook his head slightly and smiled. "Not sure. It always seems to get better every time." He kissed me again and laid his head on my chest. I brought my hand to his hair and started running my fingers through it. "I love you." His voice was still breathy, and deeper than normal. "I love you," I replied back. "Always." My breath caught in my throat, and I felt tears sting my eyes again, overcome with emotion. Why? It's not like I didn't know that he loved me. I think that I need to go to a shrink. I need to see what day it is. Maybe it's almost time for my monthly. Yeah, that's what it is. Colby lifted himself off of me and I whine like a little kid having their favorite toy taken away. He laughed, as he sat back on his heels, straddling me. "We have to go down sometime, and I thought you might want to get some clothes on first." "Fine." I pouted, sticking out my bottom lip and taking his hand to help pull me up. He crawled over me and started getting dressed, throwing me my clothes while he was at it. "COLBY! Are you out here?" I watched as his eyes widened and his cheeks flamed up. He snatched his shirt on quickly and ducked his head out of one of the windows. "Yeah Mom, be down in a sec." "Okay baby, just wanted you to know that lunch was done." He leaned back inside the window, blushing. I giggled. "You're so damn cute...and such a Mama's boy." I said, pulling on my shoes. He cut his eyes to me and pursed his lips. "I'm not sure if you meant that as a compliment or not." I laughed again, standing up. "Everything I say to you is a compliment." He tilted his head to the side and bit his lip smiling. "Awww, you're so sweet." I shook my head. "You're such a dork." "You like it." He said, walking over to me and gathering me in his arms. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his lips. "I really do." I replied smiling softly, amazed at how much love I was feeling right now. I patted his chest and stepped back. "Lunch sounds amazing tho, can we hurry up? I'm starving." He laughed. "Seriously? We just ate like 2 hours ago." I shrugged. "So? I just worked up an appetite! I'm hungry!" Colby shook his head, still smiling at me. "Come on." He started down the tree, with me behind him. "Hey, do you know if there are any Salt and Vinegar chips in the kitchen? I actually really want some of those right now." I asked as we reached the ground. He looked at me all weird, and took my hand in his. "Since when do you eat those?" I thought about that. I didn't really eat that kind of chips but I really wanted some right now. Freaking monthly mother nature crap was messing me up. "I don't know, I just want some." He brought my hand to his lips and kissed, then smiled. "If we don't then I'll go get you some from the store." I snuggled up to his side and kissed his cheek. "Thank you baby." "Come on dork." He wrapped his arm around my neck and we walked inside to eat lunch.  I cleaned two plates, full of chicken salad and avocado toast, licking my fingers clean, when I heard Colby chuckle at me. I glanced up at him, my finger still in my mouth. "What?" I aske, bringing my hand down. "Is there something on my face?" He shook his head, smiling. "No. You just REALLY worked up an appetite." I blushed, thinking of exactly how that appetite got worked up. Probably not the best thing to think about with his family surrounding us at the table. His mom reached over and patted my hand, making me blush harder. How could I think of her son in THAT way, with her sitting right next to me. UGH. Damn it Colby. "I'm glad she's not one of those girls that doesn't eat. It's okay for her to have a healthy appetite." I smiled timidly at her, and hear Colby snort, from trying not to laugh. I kicked him under the table, glaring at him. "Are you finished or do you want another plate?" He joked. I wiped my hands on my napkin and stood up. "I'm finished. I think I'm going to go lie down though. I'm kind of tired. Thank you for the delicious meal." I said, turning to his Mom. "No problem sweetie. Glad you liked it so much." Colby followed me up the stairs and into his room. "Are you okay?" He asked, sitting on the side of the bed, after I laid down. I nodded. "Yeah, just really tired. I guess you wore me out." I smiled up at him. His eyes darkened and he bit his lip. "I can do that again, if you need me too." His hand trailed up my stomach, going under my shirt. I swatted it away. "Nooo, I just wanna sleep." I groaned out, with a laugh. "I want my chips though. Can you get them for me?" I asked, poking my bottom lip out. He laughed at my childishness and leaned over to kiss my nose. "Course I will. I'll be back soon okay? Get some rest." He got up and headed to the door. "Always, baby girl." My eyes were already drifting closed but I managed to whisper out "Always," before he walked out.
