"Do you want to come eat with me and my friends? I want you to meet them." Jungkook says, standing at the door frame of your room.

"Sure." You agreed, smiling. You got up to get dressed and met him downstairs.

You and Jungkook walked into the restaurant with hands intertwined, looking for his friends. After spotting them, the both of you walk over.

"Hey hyungs." He greets, still standing. His friends smirk, "Aren't you going to introduce her to us?"

Jungkook's eyes widens, glancing at you, "O-Oh right. This is Y/N, my..." He pauses.

"My... uh- co-worker that I'm crashing in with. My roommate." He cheekily says, smiling. Your heart breaks, immediately taking your hand back from his grip. Jungkook whips his head towards you in which you face the other way. You try to hide your tears. You cursed at yourself for feeling so emotional about this.

"Oh, nice to meet you, Y/N. I'm Jimin, and this is Taehyung." They introduced.

You bit your lip, nodding with a small smile.

"Okay, let's order." Taehyung says, passing the menus. Jungkook passed one to you, and you ignore it.

"Y/N." He whispers, hand resting on your wrist. You move your hand away and sigh, taking the menu when he lets go of it. He continued to give you worried glances.

His friends notice your shift as well, knowing Jungkook had done something wrong.

"What do you want to eat?" Jungkook asked you. "Anything you order." You simply said, putting the menu down.

"Y/N-"

"I'm going to the bathroom. Excuse me." You quickly said, as his friends nod. You glance at Jungkook who was looking up at you with his big doe eyes and concerned expression.

You got to the bathroom, and your tears finally spill. How could he possibly only see me as his co-worker and roommate? Did our confessions towards each other mean absolutely nothing?? Did our dates together also mean nothing?

You inhaled deeply, wiping your tears. You stay in the bathroom for a few more minutes to get the redness of your eyes to pass.

Meanwhile...

"Jungkook, what the hell did you do?" Jimin asks, setting down the menu.

"I don't know! She seems upset. Did I do something??" Jungkook asks panicked, genuinely worried.

They shrug, "You definitely did something. You always do, Jungkook." Taehyung snickers, pointing his finger at him.

Jungkook arches his head back, groaning and putting his hands on his face, "What did I do?" He quietly whines only so he could hear.

You come back, "I'm back," You softly announced, taking a seat.

"We already ordered so we're waiting now." Jimin informs, causing you to nod and look around. You took a glass of water, drinking from it. From the corner of your eye, you can see Jungkook eyeing you. You scoff internally.

"Are you okay?" He asks quietly as his friends were talking amongst each other. He lays his hand above yours under the table again. You try yanking it away but he holds on tighter, "Y/N.."
