Eighty

Nicki groaned, burying her face in the pillows to drown out Rihyas's crying. When he didn't stop, she huffed and looked over. He was in between her and Meek. Meek was sound asleep, unaffected by any noise. Nicki sighed, getting up.

"God, Rihyas. I just fell asleep," Nicki mumbled, grabbing him.

She wrapped his half naked body in a small blanket, taking him to the kitchen. Making a warm bottle, she sat down, feeding him.

"I really had four babies by a man who is immune to loud cries in the middle of the night... y'all must hate me," Nicki said, shaking her head.

Rihyas closed his eyes, drinking the milk. Nicki sighed. She watched him drink until all of the milk was gone. Putting him on her chest, she pat his back as he cooed and made small noises.

"You're so cute, baby boy," she sighed, kissing the top of his head. "You still have that fresh baby smell, too."

She continued to pat his back until he burped. Then, she wiped his mouth and kissed his cheek, taking him into the bedroom. Putting him in his crib, she gave him a pacifier.

"You can sleep in your own bed and be a big boy."

He looked at her as he sucked his pacifier. She smiled, gently grabbing his cheek.

"Goodnight, baby boy."

Walking off, she heard him whining. She stopped and looked back as his whines turned into cries. She sighed and walked over, picking him up.

"You don't want to sleep in your own bed, Rihyas?" She asked, rubbing his back as he calmed down.

He gripped her shirt, looking around. Nicki huffed, climbing into bed. She laid down, putting Rihyas on her chest. She rubbed his back as he fell asleep, and eventually, she drifted off too.

"Mommy!"

"Mommy!"

"Mommy!"

Nicki heard three different voices calling her name and lots of giggling. Moving the covers, she opened one eye and saw Rihmeek and the twins standing there smiling and giggling.

"Hm?" She asked tiredly.

"Happy avinersaryyy!" They all yelled.

Nicki closed her eyes, laughing a little.

"Thank you babies. It's anniversary."

"Daddy told us to come keep you company!"

Nicki sat up and stretched. She picked them up one by one, putting them in the bed.

"Where is Rihyas?" Nicki asked.

"Daddy has him!" Asami smiled.

Nicki nodded and yawned. "I'm so sleepy."

"But you already slept, Mommy," Ayane told her.

"I know, baby. Your baby brother was crying all night so Mommy had to stay up with him," Nicki explained.

She sat up and stretched before getting up, going into the bathroom. She did her morning routine, then went back into the bedroom, seeing the twins hugging Rihmeek, smothering him in kisses.
