"That's the bitch that took your man, right?"

Nicki reached up, grabbing a box of her favorite granola bars. She had decided to go to Costco for some late night snack shopping. Meek was home with the kids and they all were asleep, except for Rihmeek, who tagged along.

"You want anything from this aisle, baby?" Nicki asked Rihmeek.

"Yes!"

He ran to the other side, examining the snacks. Nicki looked down at her phone, seeing that it was almost 10 pm.

"Yeah, that's the bitch. I'll kill her ugly ass."

Nicki frowned, turning around. She didn't know where the voices were coming from, but the conversation had been going on for quite some time. Looking around, she finally spotted the woman of her husband's affairs. Aries.

"Not to-fucking-night," Nicki mumbled, growing irritated.

Rihmeek ran back over, putting his snacks in the cart. Nicki grabbed his hand, walking over into a different aisle. Noticing Aries and another girl following them, Nicki unlocked her pepper spray. She knew that she was too far along in her pregnancy to fight anyone. She also knew that she couldn't cause a scene in front of her son.

"Look who it is. The bitch that my nigga left me for," Aries said, smirking.

She crossed her arms, looking at Nicki. Rihmeek looked up at Nicki, confused. She sighed a little, shaking her head.

"I will really lay the both of you out. I'm with my son right now. Don't get stupid."

"Bitch, we will definitely see you when you drop that baby. This is just a warning."

She started walking off before turning around, smirking at Nicki.

"Oh.. and tell Meek he needs to come see his child that he lied and said he didn't have."

She walked off and Nicki clenched her jaw. Holding Rihmeek's hand, she pushed the cart up to self checkout and began paying for her things. Once she paid, she walked to the doors.

"Do you need help?" A worker asked.

Nicki nodded. "Yes, please."

They began to walk out before a male worker joined them. The two workers began talking about any and everything as they reached Nicki's car. They helped her put her groceries into the car and then they took her cart.

"Have a nice night!"

"Thank you. You too."

She got into the car and put on her seatbelt, locking the doors. She looked in the rear view mirror at Rihmeek, who was sitting in his car seat. She began pulling off.

Oh.. and tell Meek he needs to come see his child that he lied and said he didn't have.

The words echoed in Nicki's head as she drove home. She didn't know whether to believe Aries or not. She could've sworn that Meek had told Aries to get an abortion.

What if it was all an act? Were they both lying?

She sighed, putting her hand on her stomach as she stopped at the red light. Just when everything seemed to be going so good, the past is thrown right back at her.

"Mommy, can you turn the radio up?" Rihmeek asked from the back seat.

"Sure, ba-."

Nicki stopped mid-sentence, seeing bright head lights in her rear view. Noticing that they were coming at incredible speed, she took her foot off of the brakes, but it was too late. She felt the impact of the collision and she held on to the steering wheel tight as her car flipped multiple times. Feeling pain all over, she heard Rihmeek screaming and crying in the back seat before it all went black.
