"I just want to sleep forever," Nicki pouted, cuddling her body pillow.

She looked at Rihyas who was chewing on her blanket, Ayane who kept making weird animal noises, Asami who was rolling around on the large bed, and Rihmeek who was trying to do karate on the bed.

Meek was currently at his new building, getting things situated. His firm was set to open the following week, so he was very busy. Nicki, on the other hand, was home with the kids. She felt extremely sick and very uncomfortable. After having thrown up four times in the past two hours, she called her OB in, who would arrive later in the afternoon.

"Can you guys please lay down?" Nicki asked.

"Mommy, I'm not sleepy," Ayane told her.

Asami nodded in agreement while Rihmeek and Rihyas completely ignored Nicki's statement.

"You don't have to be sleepy. Let's all just lay down."

"Mommy," Asami whined.

Nicki frowned a little. "Oh my goodness, why won't you guys listen to me? Mommy feels so sick right now. Just lay down."

The twins huffed, laying down. Rihmeek glanced at them, then went back to practicing his karate moves.

"Lay down, Rihmeek."

He sighed and laid down. Nicki then looked at Rihyas, who was trying to put the edge of pillow in his mouth.

"Oh my goodness, little boy. You lay down too."

She made him lay down and she looked at her children.

"Go to sleep. All of you."

They started whining and she sighed. Soon, their whining turned into crying and she tuned them out, closing her eyes. She drifted off, finally getting some rest.

Meek walked into the house, sighing. He loosened his tie and put his briefcase down. Heading upstairs, he peeked into the kids' rooms to see if they were in there. Not seeing them, he headed downstairs and looked in their playroom. It was clean, quiet, and empty. He closed the door and went into his bedroom, seeing everyone asleep except for Rihyas, who was crying a little. Meek walked over, picking him up. He walked out, closing the door behind him.

"Wassup?" He asked Rihyas.

He wiped his tears and kissed his cheek. Rihyas laid against his chest, sniffling. Meek rubbed his back and went into the living room, sitting on the couch.

"I'm tired, man. You just woke up?" He asked Rihyas.

Rihyas nodded and got comfortable in Meek's lap. Meek ran a hand over Rihyas's hair gently, smiling a little.

"Let's get some food while ya mom and siblings sleeping."

"Ma ma?" Rihyas asked.

Meek nodded. "Yeah, come on."

He stood up and took him upstairs, dressing him in something comfortable. He then carried him back downstairs and put him on the couch.

"Don't move. I gotta write ya mom a note so she won't freak out if she wake up and see you gone."

"Ma ma ma ma ma," Rihyas babbled, crawling to the other end of the couch.

Meek wrote a quick note in bold, red marker.

out with Rih. we'll be back

He quickly went into the room, putting it on the bed beside her. Coming back out, he grabbed Rihyas and went outside. He strapped him in, then got into the car, driving off.
