While Kyla and Blare head home, she sends Pidgeot to Ivory. Ivory sends back a message that she would cover David's shift, as long as Kyla took her Rhydon to help.
Back at the house, Blare brushes Eve's hair while she talks to Kyla. "Is there anything we can do to help tomorrow?"
Kyla is busy making a list, as she responds. "I would like you to keep the area clear of wild Pokemon, while we work."
Blare looks curiously at Kyla. "Just me and Eve?"
Kyla looks up for a moment. "Chika and Pidgeot can help. I will need Rhydon, Heracross, Chaz, Snorlax, and Gyarados for the lake restoration."
"What about Tentacruel, could it help move downed trees?" Blare asks.
"If David wants to utilize that.... Pokemon, then he can. It will be his after we are done anyways." Kyla responds coldly.
"Do you have an issue with Tentacruel?" Blare asks.
Kyla sighs and puts down her list. "Every report I have seen that involved a Tentacruel listed massive destruction of property, countless injuries, and the result was the Tentacruel was locked away or run off."
"You can't hate one Pokemon based on a report about another similar Pokemon. Besides, the same could be said of Gyarados." Blare rebuts.
"It worked out for me either way. David will take Tentacruel, and I do not have to deal with it." Kyla says as she returns to her list.
Eve looks up at Blare and curls up in a ball, falling asleep in her lap.
"Kyla, I know it is not my place to tell you what to do with your Pokemon, but everyone deserves a second chance. With the right guidance, any Pokemon could become a friend." Blare picks Eve up and retires to the guest room.
Chaz scratches his belly and grunts at Kyla.
"Yeah." Kyla sighs. "I know she is right. I shouldn't be so hard on Tentacruel, but again I don't have a purpose for it. It is better David takes Tentacruel, cause he will give it a better purpose than I can."
The next day, Ivory meets them at the clinic bringing Heracross' Pokeball and opens Rhydon's Pokeball.
Rhydon emerges and looks at the people before him.
"Rhydon, I need you to help Kyla with a task. Will you please obey her for today?" Ivory asks.
Rhydon looks at Kyla and smiles. "RHY RHY!"
"Great! Then I will cover the clinic while you are gone, at least till Joy comes in." Ivory waves as they leave.
As they get to the lake, David calls out his Pokemon: Machamp, Venuasaur, Steelix, Tyranitar, and Dugtrio.
Kyla hands him Tentacruel's Pokeball. "Since Tentacruel will be your Pokemon after this, perhaps you can put it to good use moving trees."
David takes the ball and calls Tentacruel out.
Tentacruel looks angerly around, then fixes his eyes on David and Kyla.
"Listen up Tentacruel, I am going to make you a deal. Help us clean up this mess, and I will give you a purpose to live for." David shouts.
Tentacruel shrugs and begins moving downed trees.
"That was surprisingly easy." Kyla says, opening Snorlax, Gyarados, Heracross Pokeballs. "Okay team, let's get this place looking amazing again.
Snorlax and Gyarados look at the mess they caused and look at each other with apologetic expressions.
Kyla pats them both on the sides. "It is okay, fellas, the point is we are going to make this right, for the sake of the wildlife."
