After heightened security is implemented and two days pass, Bracket G, the second bracket to qualify for the tournament, begins. Before each match, the trainers have to submit to a new scan of their Pokeballs and a pat down. The layout of the matches do not follow the sudden death rules, instead each trainer must defeat their opponent, randomly drawn, to advance until only one remains.
Sue looks over the bracket layout and zeros in on her first opponent, a long blonde haired girl.
Sue glares at her, instantly annoyed by her long, bright hair.
A male voice, deep and harsh, echos in her mind. "Forget you vane notions of beauty. Your only concern should be winning your matches to advance to the tournament finals."
Sue groans. "I know." She replies in thought. "But you don't understand how much I would kill for natural, blonde hair."
The male voice sighs. "I understand your species thrives on propagation to ensure offspring, but this should not be our concern right now!"
Sue sighs. "Very well.."
Sue looks back at the bracket, which is just now having a match order added. Sue sees her first match is to be third.
"Looks like I have some time to scope out the competition." She says, under her breath.
"Excellent. Know your enemy so that you may defeat them more efficiently." The male voice praises her, in her mind.
The first match is between two male trainers.
Joseph.
And Gregory.
