Ryes pov
"I have to go now" Andy said after about half an hour of silence. He got off my lap and stood up. He stretched out his hand to help me up and I took it. Once I was stood up I saw Andy's brother slowly coming towards us, he was still quite far away so I glared at him and Andy giggled
"Why are you looking at him like that?" He asked me softly and I turned back to him.
"I don't know, guess I just wanna protect you" Andy smiled and took my hands.
"Protect me from my brother?" I nodded.
"There's something about him that seems weird" I tried explaining
"Oh trust me he is one weird creature" I laughed and watched as he smiled. Then Brooklyn was stood next to us.
"Time to go Andy" Brooklyn told him and he nodded then looked at me. He smiled and tried to kiss me but Brooklyn pulled him away from me.
"We have to go!" Andy rolled his eyes at his brother and I laughed. He hugged me and I leaned down and kissed him.
He smiled when we pulled away.
"I love you" he whispered
"I love you more" I whispered back he giggled. He shifted into his beautiful wolf form and waited for Brooklyn to shift. In the mean time I gently touched Andy's fur and kissed his head. After brook finally shifted he went back to the fowler territory.
Once I arrived at my castle I saw my father stood in the entrance. I let out a groan knowing what's coming next but ill gladly let him scold me or whatever because i was able to see and hold Andy in my arms again and that's all I care about.
"Tell me you weren't with Andy" I just laughed awkwardly and he rolled his eyes.
"Oops?"
"Rye, his mission is important. What if someone catches him during one of your little meetings? What will you do then?" I looked down because I knew he was right. If someone catches him he's dead. Literally
"I'm sorry, but I cant promise it wont happen again dad. I just missed him" my dad smiled
"I know son, and be careful next time you meet him and tell me before you go yeah?"
"Wait are you serious?" He nodded and I hugged him.
"Now come inside we have a meeting, the boys found something"
"Ok lets go" we walked to the meeting room where Robbie and James were waiting for us. I sat down next to Robbie and James took out the report. We opened it and I read it out loud.
"Today, thanks to the help of Andy's brother we found out that the king has sonny Robertson threatened and has until tomorrow to poison prince Ryan and kill him or the king will murder him. We also found out that they are trying to get an alliance with another pack to start a war against the Beaumonts. This is all we were able to find today we'll keep you updated

I laughed "weeellll looks like I'm getting killed" Robbie hit my arm with his elbow. I looked at him angrily and he just chuckled
"Enough boys!" Dad demanded and then started coughing. We both stood up and went to him. His sickness is starting to affect him a bit more and that makes me scared. I don't want to lose him as well.
"I'm fine boys, thanks. Send some guards to search for Ryan Robertson known as sonny. He must be around town but I'm sure he hasn't left the territory." James nodded and went to inform the other guards.
"Robbie, order all the cooks and servants to gather in the interrogation room" he nodded and left
"Ryan, just in case you aren't allowed to eat or drink anything until its safe go and help Robbie out"
"Are you sure you're ok?" Dad nodded and I left to help Robbie out. I ran into some in the halls
"Alex, Marissa, Felix, Wilson the king has requested all the maids and servants to gather in the interrogation room so please make your way there."
"Sure"
"Ok"
"Of course"
"Fine"
I walked through the halls and heard crying from a room. It was Mikey's and Harv's room so I'm guessing its the babies. I went in and saw him trying to calm the two crying babies at the same time. He laughed awkwardly
"This was way easier when my alpha was here" I laughed and sat next to him on the bed and signaled him to give me one of them he hesitated a bit but still gave me one.
I smiled at the cute little guy in front of me and tried calming him down and surprisingly succeeded. I got him to sleep in like 5 minutes and that was amazing. I put him in his crib and Mikey thanked me.
"Anytime mate" with that i left the room. I honestly didn't want Harvey to go on that mission with Andy. I guess he didn't think it would be hard for Mikey to take care of both babies. I made my way to our huge interrogation room where everyone was.
They were all talking and whispering things to each other. Some wondering why they were all here some just talking about dumb things. Even I don't know why my father brought them here because he didn't mention anything in the meeting. They all looked at me as I walked in and stood next to my brother and dad
"Are they all here?" Dad asked and Robbie and I nodded.
"Ok everyone settle down!" Dad yelled and they all turned to us and payed attention. My dad started talking and asking if anyone knew anything about sonny or if someone had any type of contact with him and like 5 of them raised they're hands. The rest of them were asked to leave.
"Were any of you forced by Robertson to poison me?" I asked and they all said no but it was weird that Marissa looked scared. Please tell me she's just nervous
"Be honest or punishment will be worse" that's when Marissa started crying.
"Me... He payed me" she said and I shook my head
"Every one else leave now!" Robbie ordered angrily and they obeyed
"Why would you do this to me?" I asked as she cried
"I had no choice... Besides its too late, he forced me to do it last night. I put it in your tea the one you took before heading out of the castle"
"How long does it take to kill him and do you know of an antidote?" Robbie asked her furious
"It takes 24 hours... I wish I could tell you but he'll kill me"
"So there is a way to save him?" Dad asked and Marissa nodded
"Tell me"
"I cant" she cried
"Marissa tell me" I ordered getting angrier my omega is worried sick about me and i told him nothing would happen to me.
"No" she shook her head
"TELL ME!" I yelled using my alpha voice.
"Rye calm down" Robbie said calmly
"Calm down? Calm down?! I promised him... I PROMISED HIM I WOULDN'T DIE!"
"Ryan calm down!" Dad yelled
"Marissa you have to give us that antidote"
"I don't have it! I just know how to make it!"
"Then you will tell us how to make it" Robbie told her...
