NEWT POV:

I was walking around town with Thomas. I noticed something. "Tommy, are you okay" I asked. Another flashing was missed. All the zombies lost their link to humanity. Thomas hugged me. "Tommy" I asked. Thomas said nothing. He just rested his head on my shoulder. I stood there. A zombie walked up to us and cut my cheek. I froze as the others could smell it. Thomas bolted up and held me on his arms. He hissed at the other zombies. "Wait, Newt is human" asked Minho. "Back off he is my soulmate" Thomas snapped. Minho and a few other zombies put their hands up. "Wow we don't want Newt. We have our own soulmates" said Minho. "Besides it was Gally's idea" said Brenda pointing at Gally. He crossed his arms. "Oh sure, blame me" he said sarcastically. Thomas picked me up and started to walk away. "Where are you going" asked Teresa. The zombies put their hands down. "I'm taking Newt home" said Thomas. "No" I said standing up. Thomas stopped walking. "Newt, you can't stay here if the flashing is off. You will have to become a zombie" said Thomas.

"Well it's better then going back to a abusive family. I still have scars from them" I said. Thomas hugged me and closed my eyes. "I don't want to turn you if you don't want to become a zombie" said Thomas. I hugged back. "I never said I didn't Tommy" I said. "You sure, I will turn you" said Thomas. "Do it, but not here" I said. Thomas picked up my legs and left. We made it to his apartment and entered. Thomas laid me down on the couch and laid on top of me. I held Thomas in my arms. Thomas kissed my neck till he found my sweet spot. Thomas bit my neck. I winced in pain and balled up my fist. Thomas injected the venom which burned. I relaxed and closed my eyes. I put my hand over Thomas' head and held him. Thomas finished and laid with me. He kissed my cheek. "I love you Newt" said Thomas. "I love you two Tommy" I said. I fainted in his arms. I woke up on the couch with Thomas holding me in his arms. "Tommy" I said. It was in zombie. Thomas picked his head up and looked at me.

"Hey Newt, how do you feel" asked Thomas. "My head hurts a little, why can't I speak english" I asked weakly. "It will take a while. When you first become a zombie you can't speak english" said Thomas. I guess that makes sense. "I'm hungry" I said. Thomas gave me a peck on the lips. "I'll be right back Newtie" said Thomas. I laughed a little. Thomas got up and I heard him open the fridge. He grabbed some meat and closed the fridge. Thomas laid down and handed me the raw meat. "Here, eat this" said Thomas. I took the raw meat and sniffed it. It smells good. I took a small bite. The meat tasted amazing. Like cooked chicken. I continued to eat the meat. I finished and snuggled in Thomas' arms. "When you feel better we have to explain to the government and everyone" said Thomas. "Oh, I'm kinda nervous about that" I said. "We will be fine. You were the one who snuck in the supplies truck" said Thomas. "I did not sneak in, I got curious and entered without anyone knowing. Besides I found out we are soulmates Tommy" I said. "So it worked out. However I'm sure they will have better security" said Thomas. I closed my eyes and smiled. "I'm just glad I have you" I said.
