NEWT POV: age 15

I was waiting for my turn on the water slide. Gally, Sonya, our mom, and I are staying at a hotel for fourth of July. We decided to swim while my mom stays with the stuff. Gally, Sonya, and I have all split up and I have no idea where they are now. I'll find them later. There is one slide I want to go on but I can't go alone. I was finally aloud to go and pushed myself down. The slide went outside of the pool. I entered the pool and saw nothing but darkness in front of me. I'm not scared. I entered and wasn't able to see anything. I was grabbed along with my tub. I started to panic but the person covered my mouth. "Its okay Newt it's just me" Thomas whispered. I relaxed and calmed down. It's just Tommy. Thomas uncovered my mouth and held me in his arms. I could feel the tube was being held by Thomas standing in the whole of it. "Okay Newt listen carefully" Thomas whispered. I heard yelling so more people are coming but they can't see us.

I honestly love Thomas holding me in his arms though. However how did he break in here? "The pool closes at midnight. At 11:30 I want you to come down this slide again. I will grab you again and send the tub down with out you. We will wait here till the pool closes. Once everyone is gone we will sneak out and I will show you the date I have planned tonight" Thomas whispered. More people have come down as Thomas whispered to me but they aren't able to see or hear us. "Good that" Thomas whispered. I nodded. "Good, I'll see you then" Thomas whispered. He kissed my lips. Thomas waited a few minutes and sent me on my way. I went down the rest of the slide with the biggest smile on my face. Thomas has something planned for tonight. I hope it isn't sex. I love it but it feels like we have been doing too much of that. Every time we see each other now. I'm just hoping for something else. Like maybe snuggling while watching a movie or a dinner date. My mind kept thinking of what Thomas could possible have planned.

I tried to distract myself a little and also made sure I could see the clock from where I was. When 10 o clock came around I told my family I want to swim till midnight so they agreed I can stay but Gally had to watch me. "I don't need a bloody babysitter" I said as we walked to get some food. "I know you Newt. You don't really want to stay and swim. Something else is going on. Are you going to tell me what" asked Gally crossing his arms. I signed annoyed. If I don't then Gally will follow me the whole night and it will be almost impossible to ditch him. "Okay fine. I saw Thomas" I started. "Wait Thomas is here" asked Gally. "Yes, he told me to wait till 11:30 and go down the slide I saw him on and" I started but Gally covered my mouth. He took me to the water bucket fort and we stood under it where no one could hear us. Gally crossed his arms. "So Thomas is hiding on one of the slides" asked Gally. The bucket dumped. I waited for it to stop.

"Yes, it's the one with the soup bowl" I said. "You mean the one with the bowl that sends you in a circle till you go down a whole in the center" asked Gally. "Ya, he was on the ceiling and using his zombie abilities to stick to the top. He grabbed me and told me to meet him there so we can go on a date" I said. Gally signed and put his hands on his hips. "Well, what am I suppose to tell mom and Sonya while you are out with Thomas" asked Gally. "I don't know. Just say we went shopping for food or something" I said. "Fine, but don't stay out too long" said Gally. He started leaving. He stopped and turned back to me. "You said it was the bowl slide right" he asked. "Ya, why" I asked. "Just making sure" said Gally. "Oh don't tell me you plan on seeing Thomas" I said. "Hey I have the right to go on which slide I want. As long as it's not a baby slide but whatever. My point is I can go on that slide and maybe I want to tell Thomas to not fuck you too hard" said Gally.

"Mommy he said a curse word" said a little girl. We looked over and saw a little girl with a older women. "Come on Rachel let's leave them be" said the women. The women walked her daughter away. "Please just don't be a idiot Gally. Thomas might see you as a threat if you say anything about it" I said. "Ya ya whatever. Just don't come back with a soar ass" said Gally. We left and got a snack before swimming again. We also made sure to wait long enough. Not a hour but long enough for a snack to disgust. I just did whatever till 11:30. I went down the slide with Gally. He said it would be less suspious if we went on a two person tube. I guess he is right. We entered the bowl part. I tried to steer us. "The shuck are you doing" asked Gally. "I'm not going down backwards" I said. "Why do you care? You're going to be grabbed by Thomas" said Gally. "Ya but still, it's scary" I said. Gally rolled his eyes and helped with the bloody steering. We went down the whole forward and entered the pitch black tunnel.

I was grabbed and laid in Thomas' arms. We laid there on the ceiling till midnight. They shut the water slides off and started closing up. We waited till 12:30 for it to be empty. Thomas carried me to the end of the slide and the lights were off. We entered the water and started leaving the pool. "How did you bloody sneak in there" I asked. "Last night so I have been in there all day" said Thomas. "What the bloody shuck Tommy? Aren't you hungry and how did you not bloody die of boredom" I asked. "Well I had snacks in my back pack and at night I just planned but watching the people was okay I guess" said Thomas. "Oh, but how did you know I was here? I didn't tell you" I said. "I'm a professional hunter Newt. The second a zombie has your scent it is nearly impossible to loose them. So I just followed your guys scent" said Thomas. "I guess that makes sense but what do you have planned for tonight" I asked. "You'll see" said Thomas. He kissed my cheek and grabbed a key out of his bag.

Thomas unlocked the door and we snuck out. Thomas locked the door and we left. "I also swiped a key from the front desk" said Thomas. "Do you always have to be a bloody trouble maker Tommy" I asked a little annoyed. "Oh shut up. You know you love me and you can punish me another time. Not tonight though. I have something else planned" said Thomas. He took me to a park and got in a canoe. "Come on" said Thomas holding his hand out. I took it and entered the canoe. I sat down across from Thomas. He started to paddle down the river. "So, a romantic boat ride in the river" I asked smiling. Thomas stopped paddling and put the ore down. He grabbed a picnic box and sat in on the seat between us. "And a picnic" said Thomas. He took a candle out of the box and lit it. Thomas set it next to the box. "I hope it's okay" said Thomas nervously. "I love it Tommy" I said. Thomas smiled. "I made your favorite sandwhich" said Thomas. I smiled. THOMAS handed me my box of food and took his box of food. I opened the small box and smiled.

"Thank you Thomas. I'm glad to have the perfect boyfriend" I said. "I like husband better" said Thomas. I smiled and we started eating. I signed. "Tommy" I asked. "Ya Newt" said Thomas. "I really miss being with you. The only time we hang out is when you find me. I wish we could talk somehow more then we do" I said. Thomas got up and sat next to me. "I know Newt. To be honest I miss you two. I know we can't communicate as much as we like but what if you move back in the cave with me" asked Thomas. I looked at him surprised. "Really" I asked. "Ya, it's up to you. You don't have to or you could spend a week or something" said Thomas. "Well I guess I could spend a week maybe. I do miss that cave. However I'm not leaving my family again. I can't put them threw that again. Maybe I can spend one night or the days during the summer" I said. "Ya, we will work something out" said Thomas. I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder as I ate. We finished the food and snacks.

I started to become tired. Thomas laid me on his lap. I tried to sit up but Thomas laid me down. "Its okay Newt, just go to sleep" said Thomas. "But I hate waking up and you aren't there" I whined. "I know Newt. Please just go to sleep. As long as I'm in your heart I will always be with you" said Thomas. "I love you Thomas" I said. "I love you two Newt" said Thomas. He kissed my forehead and started paddling to shore. I fell asleep and woke up in my bed with Thomas' jacket. There was a note in the pocket. You looked cold while sleeping so I gave you my jacket. You can keep it and remember, I'll always be with you no matter what. Thomas <3. P.s. Remember your 16th birthday is coming. Just let me know if I should turn you that day or sometime after. As long as your 16 I don't care when. I see you later my zombie husband. 🍆. I blushed and put the letter back. I still can't believe Thomas drew a penis but I don't care. I just need his love to be happy.
