Chapter 34 PROMO

Your Invited!

Come join us for the annual Mikaelson Halloween Ball, located at 13 - 13th Street on Friday the 31st of October. Come in, grab a drink, have a snack, and dance your merry hearts out. We would be honored for you to attend our Spooktacular Event! Trust us, you don't want to miss out. With plenty of food, plenty to drink, and lots of dancing and having fun, you'll regret not coming! So bring a friend along, be sure to wear your best mask and your best dress and suit!

This will be in script formation:

Adriana: I have nothing to wear to this stupid event!

Rebekah: Just compel yourself a dress and a date. I know who I'm going with, since I am in your court after all.

[scene changes to a park bench where Adriana and Kyle are talking, she hands him an invite]

Adriana: So, my Uncle is making me bring a date to our Halloween Ball to dance with when my Court and I arrive. 

[they smile at each other] 

Adriana: So, would you terribly mind being my date?

Kyle: (thinks for a second and starts to speak) I-

[scene changes to a dark building only lit by a few candles. The woman and her brother are standing there but there faces cannot be seen.]

Woman: It's done.

Man: Are you sure?

Woman: Oh, I am very sure. (she holds up the invite) This is going to be very 'spooktacular'.

[scene changes to the ball, where Adriana leads four masked girls wearing ball gowns into the party. Her court, two one each side behind her.

It then changes again to show someone walking into a darkened room holding a stake. Adriana whirls around, and gasps loudly looking terrified. A couple walks into the ball room]

Woman: Oh this is going to be fun. (says in a  creepy way)

[Scenes then rapidly change from:

Adriana and an unknown man dancing, to Klaus standing on the top of the stairs looking furious and it is unsure whether there is blood on his lips or if it's wine, to Rebekah / Hayley in tears clutching each other's hands, then finally to a darkened room where Adriana, Rebekah, and Briar Rose are standing]

Rebekah: I'm tired of playing these bloody games! I've been playing them all night! Whoever put up the flyers, threatened and tried to kill -- [screen cuts to someone in black (unknown if it's a dress or suit) standing by a door clutching two stakes]

Briar Rose: I'm sick of it to, but what are we supposed to do? This person is seriously bent on trying to distract us and kill us. (silence)Okay here's the plan. Adri-

Adriana: (interrupts) No, you don't get to tell me what to do. I'm tired of people telling me what to do, and my father's girlfriend is no exception. 

[they exchange a glare] 

Adriana: I'm not letting these freaks ruin my first Halloween that I remember, and that includes you!

Rebekah: Enough already! There will be time to talk later, until then let's go back to the ball. We'll be safer there. 

[the door slowly opens and someone walks in clutching two stakes. A few seconds later a series of screams echo through the mansion, while the people downstairs are oblivious to it]

This is our first Halloween! Thank you guys for letting this continue this far! I'm going to warn you now, it might get a bit intense in some parts. You've been warned! Chapter 34 might not be published until after Halloween, but no later the Sunday!

(for those of you who do not celebrate Halloween, I mean no disrespect your belief. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and many do celebrate. Thus, I am posting it anyway :))
