Unknown Woman's POV

Chanting softly, the blank paper in front of me starts to change into an invitation. Opening my eyes, I stare at my very tall brother. He look impatient, and has his arms are crossed over his chest in a defensive way. Silly boy, thinks that will save him from my magic... "It's done."

He puts his hands on the table, staring at me intently. "Are you sure?" His voice is gruff, and I sigh annoyed.

Lifting up the invite, I examine it. "Oh Samuel, you know that my magic is stronger than any witch in the French Quarter."

"Are. You. Sure?" he questions, His true form coming forth; as he grows angrier and angrier.

"Oh, I am very sure. This is going to be very 'spooktacular.'" Grinning at him, I set down the invitation and turn, walking out.

Adriana's POV

Standing at the top of the balcony, I listen to my family argue. I can't help but become very intrigued. How much they have all changed; in just two weeks. My own mother was becoming scared and was feeling alone without me there. Rolling my tongue over my teeth, I listen to the last bit of the argument.

"You gave up on her first, Elijah! You're the reason why I gave up hope that my own daughter would come back to life" Mom yells out at Uncle Elijah.

"No one made you bury her, Hayley." He retorts.

"Oh please, everyone knows what's really going on here. Hayley, love, you had a nervous breakdown and buried our daughter alive. She came back. Now you're feeling guilty. You made a mistake that everyone knows about. You have every right to feel guilty for what you di-" Suddenly the loud sound of flesh hitting flesh can be heard. I wince back, knowing what happened. My mother slapped my father.

A loud snarl rips through the air. Tears spring to my eyes at the horrid sound of wood breaking. My feet feel glued to the floor. My legs feel like they weigh a hundred pounds. Somehow, someway, I manage to move my legs down the steps and stand in the doorway of my Uncle's study.

My eyes move to the broken table, and then up to the shattered glass. I see the glare my parents are giving each other. Uncle Elijah holding back mom, while Uncle Kol and Aunt Rebekah seem bored with the task of holding back dad. No one seems to have noticed me yet, which is a good thing.

"I will kill you Klaus! I swear to God, if you ever  say anything like that again, it will be the last thing you ever do say!" Mom growls, yells, and snarls at dad who shows his fangs at her.

"I'm not scared of you Klaus! I'm not! Your fangs, your gold eyes, it's all a cover up! Something for show! You killed our daughter, and I will make you pay for it!" She shouts at him.
