Chapter 27 "I Don't Deserve Them"

Peter was walking down the streets of New York as he was carrying his blue backpack. People with umbrellas were walking past him as he was slowly walking as he wrapped his arm around his stomach as it stings every time he move as his back was arched forward as the rain was pouring over him as his eyes and cheeks were red. He then stops and stood his back on a bakery shop as he started breathing in and out as rain drops drips to the ground from the tips of his hair

Peter:(how the hell am I still alive...? I could have died due to blood loss or instantly, how come I didn't die...?)*he then looks up the sky as rain was pouring on his face and dripping down to his chin and his neck*(SHIELD isn't even looking for me...I didn't even contact Danny to make sure I'm still alive...)*he then looks back down to the ground then he slide his wet hair back*(should I contact Johnny, his sister and her boyfriend are doctors and could probably make me back and running due to the hospital...no, I shouldn't bring people into my problems only for them to end up hurt...especially since Harry now knows my identity and he hates me...)*he then slowly walked down the road as people continued to walk past them*(which is why I have to go check on...May and MJ...to make sure they're okay...)*he then limped forward in pain as a woman stopped and she crouched down to Peter in worry*(ow shit!)

"Excuse me, are you okay?"

A man then joined in as people started to surround Peter as they were whispering

"What's wrong kid? Where's your parents?"

Peter:(goddammit...)I-I'm fine. I just twisted my ankle, I'm alright*he then stood himself up as he continued to walk away from the crowd as they were walking away*(Come on Parker...keep moving...)

The team were in the SHIELD infirmary calmly until Fury walked in and they turned their attention to him

Fury:We have a goblin sighting, he appears to have kidnapped a young girl in Forest Hills,Queens, the girl seems to be Mary Jane Watson, you know her don't you?

Ava:MJ?

Jessica:She was taken?

Danny:Was it just her? What about Peter?

Fury:Her mother said that it was just MJ that was taken, we're heading over there now for any clues

Luke:No offense Director Fury, but isn't that the police's job to look for clues?

Fury:We're there for reports, and for cameras. Some streetlights has cameras in them, we just need to look through the footage to see where Harry went

Ava:Then we should hurry up and see what's going on, god...I just feel so bad for her mom, she's probably suffering a heart attack right now...

Luke:You're not going out there, neither is Sam

Ava:You can't be serious

Fury:He's right Tiger, you have to stay in here

Jessica:What about me?

Fury:You can go out with us if you'll like
