Appa Joon!

I was sitting in my room, on the phone with my best friend in the entire world and we were talking about when our dads would be home and how we can't wait so we can all have dinner together! I was so excited.
"So when do you think they will land?" I asked Sage as I was sitting on my bed with my journal just writing, while Sage was on her beat maker app on her iPad, she loved to make beats all day long.
"My mom said sometime tomorrow afternoon." Sage said.
"Hey you and Aera should come over!" I said hopping up and Sage turned the camera to her and smiled.
"Yeah it's been awhile since we had a sleepover, I will text her and call me back."
"Deal." I said hanging up. I then hopped off my bed and ran downstairs to find my mom in the living room.
"Eomma! Momma!" I smiled excitedly
"Hey baby."
"Can Aera and Sage come over for a sleepover tonight please?!" I asked her, she stared at me and sighed.
"Fine as long as it's ok with Yuki and Lana." My mom said and I kissed her check and rubbed her belly.
"Your the best! And I love you lil baby!" I said to the lil brother or sister inside and ran to my room to text the girls. I texted them and we tided you my room a bit more.
——Time Skip——
It was 7 and the door rang, I ran to open it and find my bestie Sage, we both smiled at each other.
"Hi Juni!" Sage said hugging me.
"Hey Sage!" And I looked to see her mom
"Hi Auntie Lana!" I smiled
"Hey sweetie!" She said as they walked in and my mom came into view, Sage said hi to her before we both took her stuff upstairs.
"I can't wait for Aera to get here so we can all just hangout." I said just then the door opened.
"Aera! Let the party begin!" I yelled and we all laughed together. After awhile we all were just hanging out talking when my phone rang, I ran over to my desk to get it.
"Hi Appa!" I said and he smiled.
"Hi sweetpea!"
"Hey uncle Joon." Sage and Aera said coming into the camera.
"Oh there is a sleepover happening?" He chuckled
"Yep! Mom said we could."
"Oh well I got some bad news kiddos." He said and we all looked at one another.
"What is it?" I whispered.
"We aren't going to be home tomorrow, we have one more stop." My dad said my spirit instantly crushed.
"Well when will you be back?" I asked
"Another 3 weeks." He said
"A month!" I yelled and he looked surprised by my outburst, I was upset and frustrated, I then decided to just hang up.
"Woah." Sage said
"Now that's something I've never done." She said to Aera."
"Are you ok?" Aera whispered and I blew up as my phone kept ringing.
"No! I have been wait most of the year for him to come back home and like I know it's his job, but I miss my dad. I mean I know you guys do too." I trailed off.
"Yeah I get it. I miss my dad so much, and he is always hanging out with my little brother when he gets home that like I feel like he never has time for me anymore." Sage confesses.
"Yeah, my dad is like that with my little sister." Aera spoke up, we all stared at the floor as our emotions began to get the best of us. Tears then began to fall as we all cried together, we all sat on the floor backs against the bed, I had my head on Aera left shoulder and Sage took the other shoulder as we all cried together. After few moments the door to my room opened and our moms all walked in.
"Oh no." Aunt Yuki said
"What happened?" My mom asked and we sat up looking at each other and cried more.
"I think we should reschedule the sleepover." My mom whispered to my aunts and the next thing I know the girls left and It was just me and my mom. I curled up on my bed and she laid next to me, her belly hitting my back a little.
"My sweet girl, what's wrong?" She asked quietly.
"Dad doesn't care anymore." I whispered while sniffling.
"Oh no, honey he cares more than you know." She said as she ran her fingers through my hair.
"He doesn't." I said sitting up.
"Why do you say that Juni?"
"He care about that damn job more than me."
"Okay first off watch your language and tone." My mom said sternly.
"He doesn't honey he does what he has to do to provide for us."
"But he has been doing this for so long, can't he stop? Soon enough I will be the forgotten child anyways." I said
"Forgotten child? What are you talking about?"
" Sage and Aera told me how when there dads come back they hardly get to spend time with them, it always about the baby and my little brother is coming soon so it's going to be all about him."
"Juni, that's not true."
"He doesn't love me!" I yelled.
"Oh my gosh Juniper you will be the reason I go into labor early, I swear." Mom said lowly.
"Juniper your dad loves you very very much-"
"Then why isn't he here to tell me?!" I scream as tear violently rolled down my face.
"Juniper Kim! You will not raise your voice in my household, I am the adult and you are the child do you understand?"
*inaudible response*
"Do you understand?" She said more sternly
"Yes." I said
"Now imma give you sometime to cool off." My mom kissed my head and left the room as I stood there arms crossed crying, fluster, frustration and anger running through me. I went and laid on my bed and soon enough fell asleep.
—— Almost 2 week later——
I have been very quiet lately, keeping to myself, journaling a lot and staying in my room. I have talked a little with Sage and Aera but not to much, still pretty upset about my dad. I've been ignoring his calls and my mom has even tried to get me to all to him but I won't budge until he comes home.
Currently I was sitting at my desk working on some art, and listening to mono while crying a little. I began to sing along to Tokyo.
The door opened and I turned to see my dad, I paused as the song kept going in the background.
He slowly got down on one knee and I got up and ran over to him, he wrapped one arm around me and he held me close with the other hand as I cried into his shirt.
"I'm sorry Juni, I missed you so much." He said after a little bit I let go and he wiped my tears and kissed my face multiple times.
"I love you so much, never forget it." He said.
——Few hours later——
We talked everything out and I apologized to my parents for my behavior and we then just ended up watching a few movies together, I hugged my dad a lot not wanting to forget the time I get to spend with him.
"I love you guys." I smiled at them as they cuddled each other.
